i think if you left the letters more visible it would look much better. It would have more detail to it.

Looks good, but I have to agree about the lettering. If you paint the lettering black it would really pop.

 

Or polish the lettering back out to metal.

 

Valve covers cover valves...

This covers your intake manifold.

Looks good though, just need to sand off the letters.

Seems like you did a quality job! Looks good but I think you should have the letters done in a different color. Here is what I did with mine for reference, I painted the cover black and let it dry. Afterward, I taped the sides and sanded and polished just the raised letters a little for a brushed aluminum look.

 

I like how it looks with the silver and red but ballin is right i think if u paint the lettering silver it would look hott.

Yea, you really should polish the letters or some thing.

 

what kinda paint did you use to do this?

and what did you use to paint the plastic cover with?

 

hey man first i used paint remover to take the stock color off then i primed it using standerd primer...after that i usedd duplicolor high heat with ceramic.. ill post a pic..4 kotes i put on...for theplastic cover i just washed it with soap.. then after it dried i used a paint called PLASTI-KOTE super enamel the color is t-23 aluminum cant find a pic...

Looks nice and maybe color the outer cover as well? Red and silver doesn't seem to go too well here.

 

I used crinkle paint to match the honda's signature color n style on vtec vehicles.
