Just installed my LED Interior lights
I had some blue led 5smt left over from my spec v figured I would try them in my tl.. Outcome is pretty nice, The one pic of the door light is not as bright as it should be only 2 out of 5 lit up on the light. Waiting on the rest
got them here I decided on blue so it matches my gauges and the little blue led lights that came factory

all blue interior is overkill in my opinion. i put blue on the doors and just the driver side light. that way whenever i hit the button to unlock my car, the whole interior lights up white but the driver seat glows blue.
plus when you actually need light to see inside the car, you can just press the passenger side and get white light. in a all blue car its still hard to see shit

I'm sure I could find this myself but...
Swoosh, what did you use for your foot well lights?

Swoosh - FYI - you and I have the same car NBP with camel interior. Some wood + alum combo. It's funny. I've been wanting to do my lights and needed to see what the best color combo was for my interior, I now know thanks to you

Also Flippy...i like blue....it kinda soothes me LOL....disco lighting has had that affect on me since childhood LOL....
Is it easy to wire the LEDs for the footwells? I have not search but assuming there's a DIY on here for it.

the wiring is not bad at all....you will run all the wires from all 4 foot wells to the driver side (fronts are easy...rear will comes thro the pillar, so not that bad)....
in my initial setup I had a kill switch and everything else wired to fuse# 32 (acc)....so when i turn the car on I can use the switch to turn the lights on....but when doing my sills, I thought it would be cool to have the sills wired to the door switches so I they will go on when the door opens....but I ended up bypassing the switches and wired them to the fuse directly....so when i turn my car on; "its the time to disco"

How hard is it to read a map or find something you've dropped at night with those blue LED's? Seems like it would get annoying after a while. Whenever I see pics of blue interior LED's, all I can hear is "oonze oonze oooooonze" playing in my head.

Got The Midas Touch
I have the blue lights on the interior as well and it definitely makes you feel like a VIP with them. At times its a little hard to read things for the most part its not too bad, I solved the problem by putting in some uber bright white LEDs in the vanity lights in so I just open my mirrors when I really need to see something clearly.

I found these to be perfect for when you need to look at something clearly at night time, or if say your gf needs to put on some make up

I think for the TL you should get the forward facing leds for the dome....since the bulbs are facing forward and not sideways....
now the plank style will work amazing on the license plate location....dome/reverse/doors i would go with forward facing...

I used the plank style in the vanity lights above the visors, not in the dome and before that I had forward facing ones there and the plank style seems to work better than the forward facing in the vanity lights.

There's a reflector inside the dome light housings, so flank-style LED's are not necessary. I use the 360* style and they are perfect.

^^^ True...but I would still recommend Flank (provided its the same cost)....if its like way more $$$ then they are not worth it IMO...

Did the LEDs this weekend. Looks awesome.
FYI - white led for domes on tan interior does NOT look bad. I was a bit worried since I thought it would be too much. But it looks awesome. Blue on the doors though.
Footwells next.
