July Meets and Shoots [lots o' pics]

Well, I never got around to posting some of my pics... and it just started to accumulate.
Just wanted to share some of the shots I've got, especially since I recently got some new equipment as well =D

My friends Mitsubishi Mirage... converted to an Evo 3.

My neighbor's Honda Civic.
His wheels match his lip... but taking a photo of his wheels slipped my mind.

My buddy's Turbo'd Acura "JDM'd" Integra-R. Note his nifty sign he even made. Hah!

My friend's Volvo V70XC: Cross Country.

My good friend's Stock Honda Civic. Minus the "JDM badges".

Then a few weeks later... I went off on my own to take some pictures of the TL.

Gotta rep the community!

Then five days later I went back to Montreal to visit my family. Five days of being in Montreal I figured... It's time to invest in some off-camera-flash. The following night of purchasing two flashes, two stands and two umbrellas... I went to go test out the new equipment. I'm not entirely satisfied with the results... Shooting with off-camera-flash [or flash in general] is very different for me as I've always shot with natural light. Here's what I got.

My bud was testing things out... what a creep!

At that point we just used his camera with my equipment.

Upper and lower 3000K HID Projector Foglights.

Interior Dome/Map LED ON:
Four(4) 6x8 LED Panels.

Pink grille was from me fixing the grille. Something hit my grille while on the highway [freeway] and it seemed to give me a dime-sized-chip.

Well, that's it that's all! Thanks for looking.
Just wanted to post and share what I had before I'm off to Vacation (and leaving the TL on idle).

I made some oopsies while editing/converting the pictures due to my netbook being incapable.
Big oopsies on my watermarking.

Your interior LEDs looks great, what are using? It has a hint of blue in person or is that just the camera? Your TL looks great minus all the nicks and scratches on your front an rear bumper. And are those the $67 quad tips or an actual exhaust package? They look good too. Nice pics.

That building you're in front of in the last couple pictures looks like a great place to take pictures. Cars look good. I like your fogs.

Thanks!
The place is very beautiful! One of the largest churches in Montreal too. Located on the crest of the mountain.

I'm using four 6x8 LED Panels. Two in the front and two in the rear. It's actually white... all white. It's very bright. Can be used as an x-ray, a tanning parlor or a blinding-defense-mechanism!
The camera captured it with a hint of blue. Thanks for the comments!
The nicks/scratches on my front were from me dropping the bumper down a flight of stairs...
The rear were from idiot drivers in Montreal and people who don't know how to park in Windsor. One of the 'scars' on the rear was also when my e-brake failed to engage and my brake was locked... ended up backing in to a cement pillar that was 2 feet away.

My exhaust is an ATLP Quadback.

I'm going to fix them when the time comes! Got something special planned.
In the mean time... they'll remain as battle scars lol.
Thanks for the comments!

Yeah... it is pretty beat up. No matter how cautious you drive... there is always someone out there who's going to tap/hit you.
I've even changed my way of parking! People in Windsor like to park with 1/5 of their car protruding into the spot in front of them.

It definitely is a great place for photos! The view from up there is great as well. Very beautiful!
It's one of the main tourist attraction sites that people like to go to in Montreal----if you like churches and that kind of stuff.
Thanks for the comments, my fogs were all custom---Legacy Projectors up top and ES300 Projectors down low [both with yellow lens+3000K hid]

I do love bumper cars! Actually a friend of mine suggested to play 'car tag'
Despite the beat-up-bumper---I love the TL! I'd fix it asap... but then I have mods planned and it would be more convenient to fix them when those mods come in to play.

Shit, car looks real nice minus the scratches.

Btw, what LEDs are you using for your license plate lights, and where from?

Great shots! Love in bright interior lights!
Your bumpers needs some TLC my man!
I like the opening on the front bumper for your intake.

Nice pics! Montreal is a messed up place to drive. I completely understand why the TL looks the way it does. If you guys took one drive through Montreal your car would look the same.

I was pretty pissed... but then it came to the point I wasn't as pissed about them given that they don't happen often... that there already are a lot of 'bruises' on the rear... and that I have things planned that would lead to me fixing it [and making it better].
I am a little ashamed of it from time to time though.

Thanks! The first few pics of my TL were using 3x6 LED boards... they didn't fit properly so all of the light never shined through. In the last few pictures I'm using those 'tower' LEDs. There are 9 LEDs on them. I purchased them off another member.

Thanks! It's very bright though, I'm not always prepared when a passenger turns my lights on or opens the door though! lol.
Thanks, the intake-port was inspired by stillhere!

Thanks! Still working with the camera. I don't think the cars look to bad! A little iffy on the silver Civic and the Mirage. But the Mirage has a 4g63t swap so all is forgiven for the exterior conversion =p

Yeah, Montreal is definitely messed up. No matter how careful you drive there will always be some wackjob out there who'll eventually hit you.

Just like earlier. I was driving my sister's Acura CSX [Canadianized JDM Honda Civic, upscaled] and some wacko floored through a 3-way-stop without stopping and nearly plowed me o.o It's a good thing I stopped a few inches away from the sign first otherwise I would have been a goner

EDIT: btw which external flashes are you using and how much did they run you?

Hmn... Good question! I think I'll leave it as is. I like carbon fiber... it is a little attention-grabbing but I like it! Once the rest of my visual mods fall in to place it shouldn't stick out so much.
As for my plans, I would love to be able to be quicker with it... but being a full time student and living on your own leaves you with little money left to mod with =[

The flashes I'm using are cheapo-chinese flashes. It is called the Yongnuo Speedlite YN460. I purchased them for $50 CAD each [an extra $45/e for lightstands, holders and umbrellas]. For cheapo-chinese flashes they work really well! I mainly purchased them as something to learn off of. At that price, I figured you can't go wrong!
-- the same flash should be roughly the same price on eBay if you are interested. There is no E-TTL or related watchamacallits.

Integra is the most beat, the owner of that car doesn't baby it too much. He had a CF lip [pictured in one of my older threads]... and it's now in three pieces. His current lip, the one you see, is pretty banged up too!
Mine is a little beat but I'll get around to fixing it!
