So last night was both good and bad but still work to do. My friend was awesome in helping me and knows his way around Hondas. We got the new axles in( found out the driver side was a raxles brand-very old though), the PCD's are in, old jpipe out which some cutting was necessary, but then the new jpipe was not aligning right with the rear PCD studs. So I put the old jpipe back on. Ill update soon with pics, I am currently talking to who I bought the new jpipe from so hopefully it will be resolved. Car drives a lot better with new axles and the PCDs gave some extra power, Im impressed. The car is still very quiet also.

Here’s my buddy Chris cutting out those nasty rusty bolts on the 3rd cat. The toughest part was the intermediate shaft but wow the new axles are night and day. The pcds are a good mod now when I roll into 2nd she spins pretty good. After I figure out the jpipe fitment issue I’ll move to getting the new suspension on

They are definitely nice to have and if you have the height, definitely worth the moola. My dad had his 2 post installed out the door for about $1,800.

yeah, I don't even have a usable garage space for one anymore...sadly...
I see why the double flex section of some of the j pipes came in handy for tightening things up...
have you tried loosening the pcd's up as much as they'll go and using slightly smaller hardware to have more
wiggle room to line things up?

Unfortunately we did not try that the same night but that is what Bruce suggested. I will try that because his jpipe is very good quality. Hopefully Ill have time to try to put it on this weekend. It will be a 30 min job now that I have all new hardware. I still cant believe how quiet it is with PCDs and I don't notice any smell, Power delivery is much smoother and awesome up top

Thank you sir, Im over this stock suspension so I hired my friend Chris again to help install the Koni/HR combo on this thing. Do you recommend any spacers? I want to do 15/20 not sure what company is decent, Ive researched a lot and Im cheap just gotta pull the trigger once I drop it

I honestly don't think you can really go wrong on spacers. It's a block of metal, sandwiched between the wheel and rotor... I'm not even sure it experiences crazy amounts of force (though the studs are a different story). I get the feeling that by now many of these brands have been making spacers for years on end... as long as they don't have terrible reviews, you should be golden.

Im pretty sure Ill get the look I want with the wheels I want to buy but the stock wheels might have to do until the funds are there because I also want some decent rubber also

I had akata spacers originally...on the back of the S2000, one of them cracked in 2 places and the other side warped inward enough to where I couldn't stack them. I contacted them and they told me to eat shit...I personally wouldn't trust them although I will say I do go sideways in the car and maybe I put stress on them that you wouldn't.
That said, I bought some cheap DMV Motorsport spacers off ebay years ago and they are still going strong on my S2000...about $60 per set, IIRC

Wrenching is definitely still a very fun hobby of mine, some of the best times Ive had were wrenching with some friends. There really aren't any TL's around here in Ohio or maybe Im just not sure where to look. The car scene is decent in Toledo but its really gone downhill. We still have SRT 4 gangs rolling around...don't even get me started on all the New Lease Dodges...

What happened with those wheels? Didn't install them?
And did you get the exhaust manifold on? Does it run better?

I only bought one wheel to test fit, Ill buy the rest this winter for the spring. The PCDs are on and the car does run better, it definitely has some more power.
