Im using a 2001 Sony 3.3 megapixel camera.

Its an good consumer camera....its really not that high end... I do spend a LONG time finding the right locaiton and wait for the right light to take a picture, in fact you're only seeing a few pics that are worthy to be displayed.

Also, I have to admit, I have a professional background with Photoshop, so I'm able to fix things that a proffessional photographer would not have done...(ok now you've found me out!!!)

The camera looks like this...

http://img110.exs.cx/img110/5507/sony20camera.jpg

ugly huh...as you can tell, its not a professional camera...it has all those silly consumer stickers that show off the features...hahahahha (its about 300 dollars)

This is Oakland Harbor...the Large Cranes in the back were the inspiration for George Lucas in Empire Strikes Back for the AT AT walkers

They look similar huh!

I was lucky to get the shot with only diffused light..the sun was RIGHT about to break open..lucky timing on this one.

First wax and clear bra results

Finally did my first all body wax. I used Meguiars Gold Class Clearn coat liquid car wax.

I wasnt able to get a highly reflective shot due to the lightning so late in the day. however you can see its very silky. very smooth to the touch, and no 'squeek' noise with finger..

Im sure I could get a better reflection using zaino, but i dont have time for that..

anywyas...2 hours later, here is the result:

the second image, you can see the clear bra...its impressive that you can wax it, and see how reflective it is???

You treat clear bra just like paint...but you can beat the hell out of it and not worry about it...!

See the seperation line? its still pretty reflective paint vs clear bra

Black would be my first choice...if it wasnt so hard to keep clean and free of visible scratches

Silver is certainly a little sexier than white in my opinion..

anyways, thanks for the kudos, all colors look dope anyways...

Silver is sexier than white, but a white pearl color in my opinion beats out silver metallic any day of the week, the only color I would replace WDP with would be a seal grey... Eww that would be so beautiful!!!

OK, I guess this is turning into my BLOG

I just went to zainobros.com to order some leather in a bottle product as everyone says it will keep your car smelling like new..

Anyways, I was about to buy the leather in a bottle product, and started to look at the polish, (which we all know is the key step to making zaino so freaking amazing) and I decided to buy the Kit. (damn 'up sell' marketing tactics always get me)

Ill play with it in a few months after rainy season, and really get the car to shine. ill tell you more later... and of course ill post pictures (and you know I like pictures)

So in summary: yes i lied to you, saying I dont want to spend the time to zaino...but ill give it a shot, why not. (it will take me several months just to figure out the damn instructions)

Im looking at getting a new better camera soon...8 megapixel. this is TOO fun!

found a great textured area with some really good color elements. thought the silver would be a nice foreground to it...

First off, Try learning the voice controls

secondly, use the small joystick to navigate the screen

Thirdly, keep a small cloth in your glove compartment (thats what I most of the time...yeah im anal about my car) Dont use windex, just use a clean cloth (microfiber or cotton diaper...you can get them at target)

fourthly, if you have to touch the screen, make sure you keep your hands clean!

Jerk, that is one nice looking ride. You have some serious camera skill, too.

Question for you, did you clear bra over the ACURA letters on the lower front bumper? If so, does the clear bra "stick to the impressed area? I finally have a TL on order and I am not putting on the front plate, but I want to protect as much of the paint as possible.

the xpel kit covers the acura lettering on the front, but it does have openings for plates.

you can check it out on xpel.com, goto shop and select the car.

THanx.

Omega

(went to take a pic just for you)

The guys who did my clear bra (invisiguard..yeah im pluggin my vendors when they treat me right...hint hint...) had the 3m sheets cut by computer... they go AROUND the letters and the licence plate plugs. (tomahawx may have a different kit than me perhaps)

for those of you who dont know what a clear bra is, its a nearly unbreakable plastic film that covers the impact zone of the front part of your car. It becomes part of the car, and you wax it and treat it like paint...But...I dont give a damn if i hit a small rock or stone, as I wont get any stone chips in my paint.

pretty freaking sweet huh?
