I agree with the machine. Try to keep a theme if possible so that the mods flow well together.

Hey guys I need help finding hub centric rings for my wheel can anyone help me out? Does anyone know what size rings I need for my Varrstoen ES2 19x9.5+12 19x10.5+12. I'm kinda confuse about the hub centric rings I know they keep your wheel from wobbling when drive but I have no idea what size I need to fit my wheel and my TL. I try to Google it myself and figure it out but I'm lost lol thanks.

The majority of aftermarket rims have a bore of 73.1. The TL hub bore is 64.1. So you need rings that go from 73.1 to 64.1. You can buy them on eBay for like $9.

Thank you Machine for verify that because my friend told me the same numbers lol. I went to Discount Tires today to see if they had it but they only had 73.0 to 64.15. So I wasn't sure if the rings would fit but the guy told me to try them. He told me just to make sure the rings aren't able to rotate in the wheel and make sure it a secure fit. Surprisingly it does fit securely and only cost me $5 bucks for all 4 rings.

What size tires are you running front and rear? Looks like it needs moar low in the rear to match the front, but you'll need a good amount of negative camber to get some of that tire tucked under there since you have a +12 offset.

Looks good overall though, but I still have mixed emotions about the blue lugs, red center cap, and red calipers. It just seems a little busy in that area. Sorry.

My tires are 215/35/19 in the front and 235/35/19 in the rear also I raise my front up to even it out the back because I was rubbing really hard on turns and small dips on the road. But yea that picture at the gas station is when I 1st put them on and test drove it. Also my rear fenders had not been pull yet just rolled, so I rub a little on turns and dips not bad tho as my fronts was.

As for my wheels one of my friends said the same thing as you but he says it looks really good when rolling. Its weird now, I'm not use to see how many people look at my car when driving around. So I took it to my car to its 1st car meet last Saturday and was kinda nervous but actually a lot of people like my car ! I mean I was kinda suprise how many people came up to my car and ask me about it and took pictures lol, I think it was mainly because in Arizona you dont see main TL being stance out here haha but it's was a good feeling when someone appreicate your car tho.

I'm gonna be in need of new tires soon but do you guys think its possible to run tire 225/35/19 on my rear wheels which are 19x10.5+12 offset or is it a bad I idea? I'm just curious since I'm already running 215/35/19 on the front which is 19x9.5+12 offset and my current rear tire are 235/35/19?

You can do the 225 on the rear, but it will be a pretty good amount of stretch because of the 35 sidewall. Make sure you get tires that stretch well. Nankang tires and Achilles are 2 brands that I know of that are good for stretching.

Look here at some pics of the 235/35/19 stretched:

Thanks Machine I'm debating if I should go 225/40/19 on a 10.5 is that a bad idea or should I just stay at 235/35/19 cause I'm scare of the tire debeading when driving?

I had a 19" 40 profile tire on my car before. It rubs a lot in the area where the rear Aspec kit meets the bumper. Since you don't have an Aspec kit yet, you might get away with it, but if you're planning to get the kit, then I would advise against it.

235/35 on a 10.5" is slightly pushing the stretch, 245/35 is a safer stretch and a lot of people run it.

Thank for the info. man that helps , but was your fenders roll and pull in the rear to get 19" wheel to be with your tires fitted?

A 225/40 tires isn't a good idea because it increases the overall diameter of the wheel and can throw things out of sorts. I see where you're going with that though, because it's a bit more sidewall to stretch.

The 235/35/19 can be a bit extreme of a stretch on a 10.5" wheel depending on what brand tire you run. Some brands run a bit larger, some run a bit smaller, some run spot on, some brands stretch well, and some dont.

10.5" is a pretty decent size width to put on this car especially with a +12 offset, so in all honesty you'll need every bit of stretch you can get so you can fit these on without rubbing. You will also have to add quite a bit of negative camber as well, so if you don't have a kit, I'd suggest you pick one up soon. Fender rolling will obviously have to be done (if not done already) and a slight pull may also be necessary.

A 245/35/19 tire is probably a bit better to run, but because of that super low offset, it also increases your chances of rubbing.

This is the area that is going to rub. For some reason, my driver side slightly rubbed and not the passenger side.

Rolling and pulling isn't going to help to help with the rubbing in this area. The 40 profile is going to rub more. Even with the a 235/35 tire, it still rubbed slightly on big dips and I wasn't even that low. I mean the slight rubbing here is not a major problem and some people just live with it. You might not even have a problem unless you're going to dump it.

I agree with The Machine. Since you rolled and did a slight pull for your fenders already, just dial in like -4 to -5 degrees of camber. But I think you said you weren't a fan of lots of negative camber so you might need a more aggressive fender pull. I'm not a fan of that, but if that's what you like then go for it.

Or you can also just order the rear wheels with a higher offset like 10.5+22 or even 10.5+30

Machine & Vietnastee you guys are right , But I'm just gonna pull my rear fenders a bit since they just roll them only. So I think it will be okay because I'm not really rubbing that hard. I'm just gonna run the same tires size with new tires and be done with this, wheel fitment is pain in ass to deal with lol.

Thanks bro that mean a lot funny story tho, I went to a car meet this last Sunday and I got a lot of thumbs up from everyone that was there. The funny part was when I was rolling out with my friend through the parking lot, I was playing my music loud with the windows down and I was setting off some guy car alarm off . I was stuck behind my friend waiting for him to go and this guy car that was park right next to my car as I was passing on by his car alarm went off 3 times. He was just standing there pushing the button to stop it but it kept going off and his alarm plus my music was setting off another car alarm next to him haha, I just though that was super funny because everyone was look at me and their cars going off so the guy comes up to my window ask me to turn it down a bit . I really don't have that good of system just a 1000 watts Alpine amp and 500 watts Kicker sub with a custom box, but this was one of my TL cherish moments lol .

Just at the gas station meeting up with some friends to go for a little late night cruise .

That about it small mini update, I'm trying to find time when I can get a real photo shoot done, I'm just so busy with work lol but I will soon so stay tune .

I like the wheels, from the side. I don't like how they stick out so far past the tire...that looks like damage can't me far off. I like the red calipers but not the red center caps. Not feeling the engine cover either. But I'm old and a bit conservative. You know what they say about opinions...

Dude, your avatar is hilarious, especially with this comment you made. If that isn't a "holy shit" look I don't know what is.

Wow, those poke quite a bit in the rear, I think it's past the point of calling it poke, lol. I know you don't like the whole sideways tire look, but that may be your only real option here. Those rims sitting out that far when looking at the rear pic, it kinda looks like a monster truck.

Also I know we talked about the red center caps before, but I would really consider doing them black. That big red cap in the center is making the rims look "cheaper" than what they are. Just a thought.

Yea, I think the machine is right about the colors. The rims look awesome tho, and I really could see myself picking up a set this year, just not so aggressive.

Bro forget the type s rear bumper, save money and get some brembo brakes then you will be golden!

You can always get a type s rear under spoiler already painted for about 300 bucks ( if you are planning on getting the a-spec body kit eventually of course ) if not then get the type s rear bumper

Your car looks really good but for some reason i like it more with the stock rims jajajaja

No worries bro I haven't forgotten about my brakes I will be looking into that very shortly, but I'm confuse about what rear kit to get I'm lost . What the differences between rear type-s 08 to a a-spec 08 and I also heard there two verison of the a-spec one for a base or type-s. Can someone link me or post me pics of rear kit to get and let me know which rear kit is it, I do plan on getting the ATLP v2 exhaust system so any help would be grateful .

Acura TL 07-08 base model with rear under spoiler

^This is for your rear bumper. You said you will get the ATLP exhaust, if you get the quad exhaust then you will have to go with the type s rear under spoiler and customize your rear bumper.

I believe that's the ATLP quad exhaust
