Josh, the fan does 2 things, 1 discharge your air as you mentioned AND helps by keeping your coolant temps low...just after 2 runs my coolant temps were into the 220's and climbing...we had to shut it down, wait for her to cool down and do 2 runs again...
some places that have good circulation and air flow, they go with 3 or even 4 runs....

also depending on your drive conditions, I hear painting your intercooler black helps...
I know there were some going back and forth between the below vids, but if your drive has traffic and not as much free flowing air, do look into it

I guess what I was getting at is that that particular Max Air fan that they sell at home depot...does not move much air at all. So if it's simulating the car driving, it would probably be the equivalent to it going 11mph.
I was just thinking if you push a ton of air through, like Anil is saying...and can do 4 runs etc...and kept all your temps down as if you were actually on the highway, would that skew the end result.
edit: or NOT being able to simulate that with a little tiny fan skewing the result, rather.
Just a question, I'm familiar with intercoolers and the purpose of the fan. Just wondering about it being too weak for the runs.

I am still dealing with small foxes of issues that continue to pop up here and there. Plan of tightening and buttoning everything up by tomorrow. Once everything is 100%, I will install the front cover...still driving around town looking like the FORD version of Johnny 5

When I had my t3i I was just learning to shoot in different situations and apeture settings. Pics cam out great! Just as I was somewhat starting to enjoy and learn shootin, had to sell it. So, still considered a beginner I guess with some sort of knowledge. And that recommended D7000 is quite the coin Sir.

You could not have been more right about that brother. Nothing serious this time. But it was something I needed to do. The brass vent fitting was shredded stripped from previous owner which causes the case not to vent properly and possibly blew the seals on the blower casing. Ordered a seal kit for repairs. It was not a catastrophic issue but for me, not a comfortable one knowing my blower was leaking and I had to keep an eye on the oil level So, rented a Economy Kia Rio for the week shut up! don't! I know! While apart, I took the front cover (snail of the blower) and dropped it off for something a lil nice. This is BOOST LIFE... "It'll be fun" they said.
