Not slicks... I have those also. ~ HOOSIER Quick Time Pros Just have not had a chance to got out to a track and use em. When I do get a chance, more than likely I will be on the MT ET Streets u see above. Then as I get comfortable again, the sticky ickies will be mounted.

I can see where it may look out of place or mis-portioned. But its all down to the proven #s. 1. light weight 2. height = 28in 3. wide enough for traction 4. 3.73 gears matched with a 28in tire leaves me crossing the 1/4 beams top of 4th gear around 7-7500rpm vs shifting to 5th without bouncing off the rev limiter.

track or street id pretty much the same when comes to that. Who the hell runs up to 5th gear. Its usually on avg 40-120/125 as far as rolls. digs 0-120/125...all 4th gears tops. The set is for both. Front set up are radials DOT approved all for light weight. The front set weight maybe 28-30lbs and rear 40-45 vs the 4 stock with tires close to 55+

I'm not sure I'm understanding...I'm talking looks. You mean you're building a car meant just for the track and want it to be streetable? I'd be the opposite...build it for street and want it to hold it's own at the track..mainly since most driving is done on the street.
Either way, you're way more knowledgeable in that sort of build. I only know slow jap cars.

Dude, if we move down to your area (which we are talking about), I'm not sure if I can become a Bucs fan, but I can sure as hell become a Lightning fan!
#3346
That's understood. The lightning sure has their share of UPS and DOWNS for the past years since winning their last cup. They started to spirts of life last year but completely inflated to the new norm. Out of the blue, the BOLTS are back on full charge! With all the big moves and very sour 1st yr of Lovie Smith, hopefully things change for the best for the Bucs culture from here on. Lovie does NOT liek to loose.
