I even went as far as taking the car for a 30-45min ride around town and in certain areas got on it HARD! to make sure I do create those high pressures that normally will push a small amount of oil. Nada happened. I will continue to monitor it especially after tomorrow where I will be getting on it hard at the races.

These numbers where ran in this track conditions. Puddles and mud wss pretty much everywhere and could not be avoided goimg through the parking lot and racers staging line until, you actually got the ok from the track Marshall roll out and wait at the water box. All this was pretty much brought onto the track for every car. And with all of that, still ran a 7.7 with a 1.7 60ft. Let me just add... this is officially my BEST TIME. Now imagine if you would... if I wasn't fighting the elements. I felt it!!! The car was going to run 7.4-7.5s last night!
The aftermath!

About 45-50min drive. That is my next gowl to hit the 1/4 mile track since it is the better track anyways. I am tired of the poor prep at the closer 1/8 track. The other 1/8mi track has good prep all the time, just hard to go out there since I wk during their T&T is held.

Here it is. I went out last night and on my 2nd run, broke a lower control arm bushing. It is literally exploded out of it mount on the from side of the control arm. As I launched, I heard a loud *thud* or pop! When I shifted to 2nd, that is when the loud CLUNK! metal to metal sounded...I hesitated and decided to ride it out all with a split second realizing it has to be a LCA... With all this going through my mind and run, I still pulled my fastest improved time trapping my slowest time yet. The #s don't lie. Between my break, mental break down and hesitant driving, this was a GOOD run and says a lot! Contacting the fellas at BMR! They have outstanding c/s and response! I am sure I have nothing to worry about. *fingers crossed*

1/8th - 7.74
60ft - 1.72
Trap Speed - 91.99mph

and yeah, she gets down! Like I said, that hesitant driving when the POP sound happen cost me the 2-3mph I was in route of running and normally do run approx high 93+mph. This was a 91.99 mph. IMO that could have been the difference between 7.76 i ran vs a possible 7.6+

In short, these time reflect to a high 11s 1/4mi time if that is what you are meaning.

Josh, fuq 1/8 and 1/4....
you need to do the standing mile....
I would just do what you like and whats convenient....part of the reason why I never post up dyno's or race vids or videos of me just doing some pulls....either the dyno was not calibrated and reading high or low or some people want me to go to a track or driver fault of the other car LOL....its never enough no matter what you post....
I have seen Andy/some other go through that and hence they dont post on Azine anymore and are very active on v6p

yeah, listen to Anil.
There's a reason every car, even OEM is rated at quarter mile time...it's consistent and the standard. It gives a point of reference. I am not saying I don't appreciate him sharing his 1/8th time, I'm just saying it doesn't compute for me and I don't like that whole arbitrary "this time on an eighth SHOULD equal x.xx seconds quarter".
In all honesty, the races posted on the internet, the dyno's posted, the track times...they're solely for entertainment and informational purposes to me. Friendly banter, they don't make me happy or sad or make a lick of difference in my life.
Maybe I'm just mad because nobody measures a car in the unit of measure I do...which is fun to drive widgets. The TL is 40 FTD and the S is 55.

^^^ I am not disagreeing with you...yeah 1/4 mile is the standard but if the track is 100 miles from his place and the 1/8 miles is closer, i think he can use the calculator to judge how he would do in a quarter and how his mods are gaining him power...
also he can get a hang of launch and other stuff before he goes to the quarter mile for a showdown
again, totally agreed on how much fun it is to drive the car....that ends up being the most important factor....
I love driving my car and hence I dont see a need to get a second car (either with more power or something which could be more fun)...I would hate to make a decision of which car to take when I am driving to work....

I have that problem...lol...kinda.
rain = TL
no rain = S2000
I concur...I wasn't telling him he has to drive to a quarter track! I'm just saying I won't care about his stats because I don't understand them until he does. That's all. I could tell you probably had a little pent up frustration with others on the forum that question our diet and how fast your car really is. Like I said...for nutjob Meko to tell me your car is "fucking fast"...I believe him. Although he has been used to the power of that BRZ lately

his facial reaction was priceless...the words were "you asshole"
yeah he has been used to BRZ power so am sure my car felt fast....its not that fast though
and yup, I do see you have a simple solution to the decision making

It can be used with a grease gun. Almost like a caulk gun but the end is a flexible tube with a fitting to squeeze grease into metal/brass fittings such as what BMR has. Or you can just grease the hell out of em by hand, which is what I will do for this install but maintenance every other oil change its recommended to squeeze some in the fitting to freshen it up. The bushing failed because AUTOMOTIVE grease was used and not POLY safe grease. So, the general grease ate the structural integrity of the poly bushings making them soft allowing them to explode under that pressure. The automotive general grease is used for rubber. When you have poly, be sure to use the proper grease. Amsoil CHASSIS grease is very popular but this tube was also noted by BMR rep yesterday.
