These are definitely alot nicer than the type S tails imo. Alot more elegant/classier. Type S is more sportier so I guess it depends on what you're going for.

i think usa6spec (his name is somewhere around those lines) has them on his blue tl! they look exactly the same.

looks kinda like a cross between clears and darks. take out the grey inserts in the tails, and the clear look would be rockin'.
