Vibration fixed!!
Ok guys.. for those of you who added aftermarket wheels and now you are getting slight vibrations at 70mph.. here's what I did. I though this out and we all know that our lugnuts are BALL seat. Well our aftermarket wheels most likely arent. I ordered Gorilla Acorn seats which I compared (they are different) as recommended by the wheel manufacturer. I ordered a set of 20 including the lock. Now, I then replaced them all and made sure I torqued them at 80lbs. When I drove the car, it does not vibrate at all anymore. To me, it seemed like th lugnuts were not holding the wheel in tight enough which caused the imbalance.

This is where I park the car most of the day at work. Its not the best.. but no one can park next to me, I park far away, and its covered which perserves the life of the car exterior a little more.

Acuracy, I hear you about the door dings. I am very careful with this. Thats why you can see above that its parked at an angle. That was they are forced to park on the next spot. The security guards are pretty cool there.
Its been a couple of days now since the wheels have been put on and we have been getting compliments left and right from people we dont know on the streets.
Acuracy.. any new pics yet? Ive been dying to see new pics of your car. Ive been posting a lot of pics, but not any from you. Too bad you dont live in Houston!

Hey acuracy, nows the time to giv the car a nice wash and wax with all this beautiful weather we r having up here in NY (high 60's). We never know how the weather is gonna be in a few days supossed to rain. I hear you about the schedule man between basketball and class I never have time to take pics. Just the other day I gave her a nice wash and wax (yes my hand was hurting). And I remembered why I got black before I had to go to work after 15 mins. Hopefully pics to come soon!

After last night meet, I compared my wheels to madhetsobi's and his are leveled just right. Mine were way off. Sure enough, I took it in to get it aligned this morning and I couldnt believe how far off I was. They straightened the wheels out and the car rides even smoother now. What do they saw?? A thread is worthless without pics?? ok.. here they are:

ITL, yes. Its actually the right side of the garage and built into the wall. It helps a lot with spills, smell and heat.
madhetsobi, I know. i was very careful. Im also worried about animals too. The car sits a tad bit lower and if I ever hit one.. I would be worried.
str8ballen, sorry about that. Forgot about that one. Yea.. let us know when you can get some superchargers. Im also looking for a BBK system. Hopefully soon with that one! You and JR said that braking is hard to do.. and I havent hit my brakes hard yet so I am worried. Having these 20's does take a toll on them.
Acuracy, its not as hard as you think. I thought the same too. I waited and waited.. then I got bored one day and tried it. Just read the directions and burn the CD. Its easy, trust me! If you want, you can post our Houston TL meet pics on your Navi??

Acuracy, for editing and sizing the photo to fit on your navi is pretty easy. Borrow a copy from someone and just read the instructions. Its been a while since I did it, and I might be doing it soon to a friends. That will refresh my memory.. but all our cars are different which boot on a different file. If you ever get a hold of PS, maybe I can walk you through it?
Also.. people have been asking me about the Gorilla lugnuts/locks. What I did is I called my wheel manufacturer, IForged and they said I needed Acorn seats. I know that RJ's wheels uses the ball seats. So call your wheel manufacturer to find the right seating. Then I called into discounttire.com and they gave me the size I needed for the TL. It was 1.5" long. Then, whats really important was to torque your wheels at 80lbs. Set your lugnuts on, then ride 25 miles and retorque again. When I was talking to the guys this weekend a lot of people have this problem.. but if you have some heavy wheels.. I dont know if it may fix it. After getting an alignment this weekend too.. the car feels so smooth now. It feels like I never put 20's and dropped it. It actually feels better than stock.
