Accuracy, that is a tasty setup I do agree with you however about the back. I think it looks a bit too low, like you're hauling a bunch of stuff. Raising it up just a touch would work.

yea thats wha i was thinking...i wanted to lower the front to compliment the back but it will rub...so i have to raise the back to compliment the front...but in the pixs it looks like the front fender is right above the tire but it is really exactly lined up and some angles looks like the fender is alittle below the top of the tire...loooks really good..but i will raise the back up and take some pics...i just cant wait for invincible569 to slap those wheels on his WDP...the suspense i think is killing all of us.

I just got back from installing these two new tires on 2 rims. Looks good. I put it next to the car and it looks sexy. Too bad the tires for tomorrow wont be here in time to take and install those too. I will have to wait until Sat morning. I was trying every which way to get off of work tomorrow, but i have too many important meetings that I cant miss.

Acuracy.. no wonder you were rubbing. .the tires are a bit wider. I got mine a lot smaller so I wouldnt have that problem. Maybe I wont need to roll the fenders.

depends on how low you drop it...u mite have to roll and might not have to...if i raise it up i wouldnt rub...but i like it the height it is so im trying to live and remedy the issues that come with it...i guess we will know once you put them bad boys on and drive around...i cant wait to see it..

damn 275/30, i'm running 245/35 all around with no drop, I guess I need to get my fenders rolled. i like the setup btw, personally i would raise that rear a little, but im sure it looks different in person as compared to pics.

acuracy, will you post up your rear wheel and tire specs. maybe you already did, but i don't see them. also, what type of cash are we talking here getting the fenders rolled?

thanks

With the rear camber kit, your rear wheels will not be tucked in under the fender which will cause it to rub with 20's. Unless you raise your ride quite a bit. So if you like the low look, skipping the camber kit might be a thing to do maybe.

Thats thee good thing about the tein ss....you can mess around with the height and get it right to drive around with until u get the fenders rolled. I believe the Camber kits go for around 110-140 i think, i cant really remember...he gave me a good price cause i also bought the SS's at the same time from him.

Here's the weird part... I was not liking the Tein SS feel. It was pretty bouncy. Well after placing these wheels on, the ride was very smooth! I couldnt believe it. I always thought that the bigger you go on wheels, the rougher the ride. Not in my case.

Tomorrow, I will readjust the height level balancing out the car. Oh and right now, I have no problems with rubbing on regular driving and turning.

One thing I do regret about these wheels is not going with 10" in the rear. There is definitely enough space back there to accomplish this. At the time I ordered, it was unheard of to go with 10's. Now a couple of folks on here have and I keep wishing I would of too. Im even thinking 10.5's would fit too.

JP: Yes they do. I am no longer nervous and feel 20's are the perfect fitment for the the TL G3. Even the ride is unbelievable. Im going to lower it more today and see if the ride changes.

ed99: The wheels and specs are as follows:

20x8.5 | 35mm - Front
20x9.5 | 35mm - Rear

Iforged Monaco's. Silver face with polished Lip.
The UPS box said 29lbs ea. Give or take from packaging.
Tire Info:

235/35/20 - Front
245/35/20 - Rear

Nitto NT555 all around.

Old Blue: Thank you. It still hasnt sunk in that these wheels are on my car.

stockTL: your car was nice too!! I really loved it. Nice Volks! Too bad it wasnt WDP like the rest of us. JK!

Madehtsobi: anytime!! JR and I kept talking about how we wish you were at the meet last night. You complete us!!! We also need to go offsite somewhere and snap some pics together. Know of any good spots? Lets find a off the wall place like the others here where it makes the car really stand out. I love those pics. Do you know of anyone who has a nice camera?

Well... this morning I woke up and decided to lower it an 1 & 1/4 on the rear. It definitely helped bring the car to proportional levels as you can see from the pics above. They were taken this morning on a breakfast run to Chik Fil A. madhetsobi knows about that.

I drove around to let it settle and Im getting a little rub now on the rear. I need to raise it just a hair bit more. The only problem is that raising it is a PAIN since your going against the force of the spring compression. Anyhow, hope everyone enjoys. Do you guys think I should lower the front a tad bit or does it look ok?

Thanks dan..k!

I made an assesment on the height before the springs, after the springs and then after the wheels were put on. Here are my current stats from the floor to the bottom of the car (gap).

Sizes starting from left to right (Stock - After Tein SS - After Wheels)

Front
7.5" - 6.5" - 6 3/4"
Middle
7" - 6 3/4" - 6.5"
Rear
9.5" - 10" - 9"

Overall, the car is lower than stock even after putting on these big wheels. Im happy about that and that was one of my biggest concerns since I didnt want the car to sit higher than stock. hence, the car on stilts look.

Both rides look absolutely stunning!!!

Acuracy: hey man where in queens are you? i am alwasy around queens i think i might hav saw your car around. i love the design of those rims. if you don't mind me asking how come you didnt go with a wider ip in the rear if its 9.5" in the rear?

invincible59: wow! the car sits perfect in the last two pictures. how dark is your tint? it looks like limo tint! lol maybe its the contrast between white and black or maybe light? anyways you think you can take a few shots from the rear to see the 9.5"?? thanks and again both riteds r beautiful!

Acuracy, ask and you shall receive. The first pic of the lip/tire of the rear wheel. The rim actually sticks out a little farther than the tire. The second pic is of the front.

Acuracy: Im having a problem with some rubbing now. My wife inspected it and seems to be rubbing on the back bumber where the A-Spec bodykit bolts on. Pretty strange. I may need to grind it down.

trancemission: thanks bro!! Thats how I wanted the look and im very pleased.

nyma: I posted that pic above for you of the rear of the car. Its debadged by the way. As for the tint, I have 20% all around. The reason why its so dark also is because I have the ebony/dark interior. Maybe I can answer your question for acuracy, but on the IForged wheels they have a process where it can give you an extra inch of lip. When I shopped with HRE, they didnt have this and could only offer me a 1.5 to maybe a 2" lip. That reminds me.. i need to measure the size of the lip.

Quick Reply: It's only 20 inch's!
