welp...

...shes old. and. she put down 255 wheel horsepowers for all three runs. 58 degree temps, 43% humidity, 3rd gear pulls, inground dynojet, murder she wrote.

But...

...the air:fuel ratio dipped down almost to 9, which means under boost she is drinking too much fuel. If that ratio can be fixed, then i'll see better numbers.

Just slap the high boost pulley on that bitch, it should raise the AF up abunch with all the added air. Maybe your FP regulator is crushed alittle too much???

I'm putting down 10whp less than that and I'm N/A (75k miles).

I hope you can fix the ratio, because your car is completely bad ass . Keep us posted!

Saw the latest round of goodies in person Saturday...wow!

As for the power, if I remember correctly it had to do with the IM not being put back on properly/tightened up/something along those lines...basically, everything wasn't sealed up...it has since been fixed.

Eric, stop being so nice...park your car at the shop and demand they hook it up...and give your friend with the Z a swift kick in the @$$.

So the story is the braille battery is now connected. Sometimes the car will start on the first few turns, but other times it will start after a series of tries..kinda scary! With the battery removed from under the blower there is a lot of room to work with the piping. I messed around with it a little earlier today, its going to take a little more brainstorming than i had imagined.

The measly 255whp was due in part to a possible boost leak which was the result of me not double checking the end plates on the polished manifold when i installed it. I'm sure if i went and did a second dyno run it will make a lot more power.

chill_dog... the greddy exhaust is a beauty and sounds good too. It was good meeting up again.

^^^I like it more and more each time I drive the car...I find myself driving harder than normal just to hear (like I did with my intake)...that hum is so sweet! I think it's time you changed up...

To be more precise... it was me that found it thank you (SRT4toCivicSi) LOL! ... You dont see a dope @$$ TL on these forums too much... maybe with rims, suspension work and badges... but adding forced induction, fmic, body kit, CF canards, etc... takes it to another extreme!

My family lives in Durham and i was in Raleigh doing some shopping and what not....so sometimes i'll be around your area. Thanks for takin those pics! the car was extremely dirty, and you did a good job of hiding the filth.

This is a fairly involved project i'm undertaking, and progress is slow. I messed around with the piping yesterday and took a few pics to keep everyone updated. I modified the intake and now its more of a short ram where the filter sits inside the engine bay. The cool pipe that will run into the intake manifold runs through the hole where the intake would normally go. Check out the pics...

Nice wheels on the 8th gen!

LOL that's hilarious! I actually spotted you as we were leaving phantasm...My first time there I was picking up some skunk2 lugs to finish off my wheels. So when we rolled through downtown and saw you again I had to stop to take pics!

Glad you like my wheels, b/c i'm definitely feeling your taste!

Next time your in Durham and want to chill and take a photoshoot or something let me know I live a little east of raleigh but all is well! IF you guys have a bunch of TL's I'd love to get a little 8thgencivic and TL meet around raleigh You TL guys can drool over my TSX HID retrofit :P

For as much as you've done, it all really looks bangin'. That's my concern as I continue to dump money into mine. Just keepin a fresh look

Thanks! I got this from a company called B&I Interior a long time ago. These are all stick on carbon fiber with some type of clear coat on them, and they have held up really well with no signs of fading. The factory is more of a black and grey checkerboard pattern, and this kit will not match the factory trim.

haha thread jacking FTMFW!

Yeah i'm located in Raleigh, NC.

How can you guys call this thread jacking..This is one of the coolest threads eVAR. Randomly found a car downtown, took pics of it. And a uber interweb nerd found the owner online and connected us. This is like a fairy tale!

Yeah, I've been slacking on the fog lights..hehe would be about the cheapest thing I've spent. Especially since my friend has an extra set and is waiting to sell them to me for $50.

More info on the retrofit. If you guys know of someone or come across ever needing one done. I HIGHLY recommend www.customlightz.com I made the drive up to va to see the work done in person. They are flawless!

They did a good job on that retrofit, i'm sure they look awesome illuminated. Foglights will certainly make that a smokin combo.
