mmade22 - can't see your pic, blocked at work ...but from what you said, I'm surprised...other than Eric's and mine (and not so much mine since the wheels are off), I haven't seen a modded TL in Charlotte...most I've seen is tint.

blokhead - you do realize this is the wrong time of year to go to Germany, don't you? It'll make here look like an equatorial region.

all - I'd start a meet thread (hell, bump the old one) in the Meets Forum, but no one checks it and no one ever shows up

 

Yeah, don't remind me that it's gonna be fcking cold there. I've got to go for some supersecret/special training... We should get a meet going, but like you said, the meets forum is never checked and it's hard getting everyone together...

Sweet another WDP TL enthusiast from Charlotte! Right now there are 4 that i know of on the forum...chill_dog, bearcat94, you, and myself, and also this other guy that doesnt post much. I was down in the Matthews area yesterday for a little bit.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for all of you who want to see Eric's car in person...I see it a 2-3 times a week as I drive home from work .

haha you clowned them!! Feel free to stop by for a minute or two when you're on your way home for work. I see the greddy exhaust is finally about to be shipped out so i'm sure you're hyped up about that!! Lets do another photoshoot sometime,...maybe get 3 or 4 wdp TLs or so.

I've thought about it, but y'all are always busy. The one time it wasn't busy, I didn't have time to stop. The exhaust is going on next Saturday (the 15th) as it should arrive sometime during the week next week. I'm washing the car tomorrow, so it should still be clean then since it never rains. If anybody's up for a photoshoot on the 15th, let me know.

 

Good deal! I actually believe its going to rain this coming week. Or atleast i sure as hell hope so. My car is going to be at CIN Motorsports on the 14th getting the custom piping done, so if the fabrication process goes smoothly, he should be able to wrap it up in one day. So if it works out lets plan to shoot some pics next saturday!

Awesome! Where is CIN? From what you described, it doesn't sound too complicated and it sounds like they know what they're doing...shouldn't be too bad.

 

I was there the other week, where were you man?!

 

CIN is behind the woodlawn lynx station in that small business section. They specialize in custom fabbing and large projects, mostly for domestics, but have done a lot of work on my friends 350Zs. The rear mount turbo drift mustang is what leaves me with faith in their work.

Guys I am up for the 15th on the photo shoot if my car is worthy....It's really nothing compared to your rides but it has some personality to it. At least the color is right!!!! I am working on a type s exhaust right now and hope to get the ground effects before the summer. Let me know what you guys want to do. Later!

By chance were you heading down Ballantyne Commones Prkwy on Saturday night around 11:15PM? I was in the NBP TL-S going the other direction and just happened to look over and see your hood. It hit me that it might be you from the forum.

You can disassemble the grille and extract the chrome A symbol or cut the entire pillar that supports it off.

...good observation! and you're right, the numbers weren't impressive. I guess its to be expected though with the high mileage motor. It's running super rich, definitely need the hondata reflash to be released.
