Impromptu mini-meet

How many black 6 speed TL's does everyone think exist in the Atlanta area? Well a bunch of them were over at ITL's place on Saturday.

ITL was installing my PIE X3 plus short shift kit and Dan...k was bringing a cold air intake to ITL. We all snapped some pics.

Funny how such similar cars from the factory went on different modification paths.

Dan...k - Aspec bodykit, comptech supercharger, comptech exhaust, wing spoiler, volk CE's, non-nav converted to factory nav, eshift pro cats, carbon fiber engine shroud, tricked out audio system, avelectronics with 10 disc dvd player...etc.

ITL - tein coilovers, non navi converted to car pc with nav, short shift kit plus bushings, aem cold air intake..etc

Mine - Volk TE37's, tvandnav2go using ps2 slim, pie x3, ssk...some other stuff already ordered... a-spec kit, shifter bushings, aem intake.

I didnt get much interior pics but if you guys want to see interiors just search old posts for our cars.

ITL did an extremely clean install with the control unit of the PIE.

Dan and ITL...post up the pics you guys took that day also...

19x8.5...+35 offset. One of Volks newer colors called Titanium Gunmetal. Its a flat matte finish. Have had the wheels for months now but never took pics. I'll take some during the day and post them up.

Geez look at that shine! Anyone would be able to tell you guys are really into cars just by seeing how well you preserve it. Awesome NBP trio!

Gotta love NBP. Can you post more pics of your interior after everything is installed? Because I want to see where you put the ps2. Are you gonna custom mount it somewhere?

Warren803: It was nice to meet you. I had a great time hanging on Saturday. I love the color of your wheels. I can't find my SD card, so ITL will have to post some of his pics.

ITL: I hope you enjoy the intake. I bet it sounds great. I am ordering the shifter bushings this week, and would like for you to install them with the SS kit.

Thanks! TEINs set at approx 1" from lowest setting. Another inch and I couldn't drive the car anywhere. At least I just moved to a new apt complex with NO speed bumps.

I've got some good pics of Warren's system that show the mount location of the PIE controller, his TVandNav2GO switch, and the PS2. I'll get some pictures up soon. I just need to get them off my camera, plus flickr is a resolution whore and scales any decent sized images down to a width of 400pixels So I need to find a new host, any suggestions?

Here's one...the rest to follow hopefully this evening.

And here's a pic from my install of the shifter bushings:

A. Small Shifter bushing
B. Large shifter bushing
C. One of three (other two not pictured) bolts for the cable housing bracket that needs to be removed to prevent the linkage lines from kinking when doing the install.

Warren, where'd your pics go? They aren't in the first post anymore

Warren's PS2 install

This is the closest thing to a side shot of Warren's car. I know someone requested side shots.
