I have the black lettering to put in the ACURA inset. I didn't really like the plate in the middle. Haven't had a chance to install because it has been so cold/rainy/snowy.

Mine fired right up last week at 18 F below zero. Battery was replaced 12/08.

When you see ice like this, it's not that cold out because it had to be warm enough for freezing rain.

So far I'm doing well with the black market.... $600 XLR8 catback, $1100 a-spec black chromies with great tires, and $400 for the hood/jpipe. Oh and $100 eibach prokit springs.

I guess "doing well" is a relative term... thats $2200 I could have just kept in the bank lol

damn dude...i was insanely close to buying that hood off of him. just didn't want to make the 2 1/2 hour drive w/out knowing how it actually looked, quality, imperfections, etc.

how do you like it? fitment ok?

oh, and black market FTW. i wouldn't have 1/2 of the stuff i have if it werent for the market.

I have to adjust the alignment. I took the stock hood off, bolted this one on, and it is definitely not aligned right. Theres a bit of imperfection on one edge, and it doesn't quite match up perfectly with the fenders. Typical of CF hoods that I've seen.

It was 35 with the wind chill today in Phoenix and I was freezing. Last time I saw that kind of ice was in Missouri in January. It sucked. You could hear the branches and powerlines snapping from weight of the ice
