I let her go

So I traded my Acura TL in finally with 97000 on her. I never had a single problem out of that car but it was time for something different.

Here is her replacement.
The day I picked it up

I got the tint done on Friday

Nice pickup!

I see 2.0T on the trunk. I love everything about that car except the front end.

Love it. Great pick-up. I have a 2011 Sonata and every time I see a Genesis coupe I second guess myself about my buying decision, lol.

I really like the new engine upgrades in the 2013 genesis coupe, however I prefer the old 2011/2012 genesis coupe exterior. I dunno, I think they tried to make the front end more "aggressive" but ended up just making it broader. Just personal opinion. What tint % did you get? Looks like 20% but I can't tell exactly.

Hyundai has come a long way with their vehicles. You will love the car. Enjoy it.

yea i actually went to buy a 2011 but the extra 64hp in the 2013 was hard to say no to. the interior is 10x in the 2013 also.
the tint is 15% all around and 70% on the front.

IDK... I used to say the same thing until I saw the new 2013 genesis coupe.. 348HP v6 rwd. More HP than the IS350, BMW335, G37. Weighs lighter than all of them too. Luxury features doesn't compare, but for less than $30k you're getting RWD, 350HP, 10yr-100,000 mile drivetrain warranty..

A Infiniti G Coupe IPL weighs 300lbs more, makes the same 348HP, but the genesis makes 19 lb/ft tq more. The extra $20K the IPL G-Coupe costs is just for luxury features when compared to the Genesis 3.8.

I say OP you got a pretty nice upgrade.

There is still the stigma that all Hyundai's are POS.

I disagree, I think most people wouldn't dare compare Hyundai with what they were 10 years ago.

Nice pick up. The front reminds me of the Lotus Elise a little bit. Before I bought my TL i was kicking around the new 2.0T Sonata or possibly a Gensis. My first car was a 2000 Hyundai Elantra and I had no problems with it. I think the newer Hyundais out are great cars and are nothing like what they used to be. Congrats OP!

Great pick up! I love the Genesis Coupe, as I always have. The 2013 is a great improvement, but there is still room for Hyundai to fix some things before I really consider it perfect, but in typical Hyundai fashion, they listen to their consumers.

My parents have both owned Hyundai cars for ages (for 10+ years before venturing into their current luxury cars) and never had any problems. Their warranty is very reassuring, too!
