I HATE winter!! Here is why...
Hopefully my thread title didnt scare anyone, but no my car isnt wrecked and nothing bad happened. Im just so frustrated I absolutely hate winter and im pretty sure these pictures speak louder than words. Everything is just so miserable and disgusting during this season. Yeah I know living near Chicago is the wrong place to be if you dont like winter I know. And I dont wanna hear it from you southern people because I have lived in FL and to this day I still wonder why I chose to move back home after college lol. Chicago is a cool place to live any other time especially during the summer but im just not sure if that outweighs the winters we get.
As you see in these pictures they cake the roads with salt and it does no good whatsoever to the cars. Under all that salt is a beautiful kinetic blue pearl paint job thats already dying for spring time. Enough rambling already enjoy the pics

And yes this is the same car......over the summer..

wow.. that sucks ass. Glad it doesn't snow much at all here in NC. I think I'd hang myself if my car had to look like that all winter.. I sure hope you aren't gonna leave all that salt and crap on the car.. Talk about eating up your paint..
It makes me sad to see beautiful KBP in such a terrible state.
I hope you have a touchless carwash you can drive through to at least get the majority of that salt off.BTW, it looks great cleaned up!

Trust me I would love to but it doesnt make sense to as the instant you drive it the car would get destroyed by road salt and all sorts of other crap. Its just that season where your car is gonna be dirty and nothin you can do about it.
Even if the roads are 100% dry the salt dust will cake the entire car.

Brother, I feel your pain. We have 2 inches of snow here in Kansas City. And my Type S looked just like yours. Last night, I pulled the car into the garage and used some No Rinse on it and it looks good as summertime.
I hate what winter does to our cars.

I know this will sound weird but I'm into aviation and stuff it's actually a complete functional wingtip off a retired and dismantled Northwest DC-9. I thought it would look cool in the garage so I mounted it on the wall lol
You think our TL's HID headlights are bright? You should see when I fire up that 500watt 28vdc landing light that's hanging off it. The filament alone is the size of a double A battery. It's crazy.

Put that light on a retractable extension cord and use it as a shop light!
