yeap

i do admit i can feel more bumps however before the 20's the ride was very different from what i was used to... i came from a bmw 330ci with sport suspension, my tl on the highway seemed to sway a little and almost bounce around... now its stuck to the road and handles in turns a whole lot better.

my wife drove the car the other day and reported back she feels a whole lot better now with the new way the car rides... apparently she can tell the difference too.

Looks Great!! I gotta finish up trimming my A-Spec kit tonight and I get my pics up in a day or two. Gotta leave some time to clean her up. I have the A-Spec drop and it looks real clean.........not too high but not too low.

Hey they are falken tires... they are the fk-452 which are supposed to be the newest ones they have come out with, they are made to be a quiet tire and thats wat i wanted.

I have to report they are really good for the price... grip the road real well even in wet weather and are as quiet as michelin pilot sports i was going to go with... the best thing about them is the price... only $153 per tire for 245/35/20

They are Diablo Lionhart rims... copy of Lowenhart LD5 rim design but a whole lot cheaper... $1200 per rim vs $326

They are 20x8.5 and +35 offset

Pics remind me of gran turismo for some reason. How the curves in the pics are a buncha straight lines stacked on top of each other, lol. Nice car + rims. It's so shiny, haha.

How did you Jack the rear end up when you cut out the parts of the A-Spec kit? I don't know how safe I feel about jacking it up using the scissor jack provided by Acura. Did you use stands once you had the wheel off? Thanks

I jacked it up just enough to give me some working room with the factory jack... It came from the factory so I guessed it would be ok even though its a little different than other OEM jacks i had used... worked just fine though. Got it high enough to where the wheel was just not even quarter of an inch off the ground and that was more than enough room. I didnt use any other kind of stand because i didnt even have to take the wheel off.

Why did you have to jack it up if you didn't have to take the wheel off? After jacking the rear up there was enough room to use a dremel in there without removing the wheel?

without the car being jacked up there wasnt enough room between the tire and a-spec kit to get the dremel in there but when it was up on the jack because the wheel drops i had plenty of room between the two.

Hideous looking. WAY too much like a low-rent guy trying to look like a baller (and failing miserably). 20" in this car will rub and grind all to crap. You probably can't drive over 10MPH with another person in the car. Since they are copies, they are bound to bend at the next speed bump and then you will have the shimmys and shakes at anything above 35MPH. Childish really. You know, they really should not let 12 year olds drive cars.

Tell us how you really feel

1) Have you been in this car with 20" on? I only rub with 4 grown adults, and that will change once I mod the A-Spec kit

2) How do you know these will bend?

3) Your 17” Voxx Scorzes are better because?

3 1/2) How about you go take your hostilities out on your dog..............

each to their own i guess...

BUT first... let me ask you what a "low-rent" guy is? i live in a $650K house... not exactly low rent.

second... if you read the forums then you would realize that 20's if fitted correctly then they will not rub.

thirdly... 10mph is the top speed of your scooter from the scooter store?

fourth... copies and low quality?? they retail for $395 p/wheel and actually its not really like they are the fake rolex looking deals that people wear on their wrists to "look like a baller"

lastly... im not 12, im 25... they really dont let 12 year olds drive at least in america?

My Man.....don't even entertain the comments, its your money and your TL. If you choose to put 20's on your TL.....Thats your dame bussiness. Just like Lembowski said, some people are happy with there 17's and they think that's a mod. Just for FYI.....you have to go two sizes up to say you did a wheel mod. That just my opinion, some people might disagree. If you do 20's and you do it right thats awesome and it should look sweet.

compared the the 17's... well i can feel the bumps more but the car is more stuck to the road and handles a whole lot better. when on the highway the car used to kinda bounce around and the steering was wayyyy too much like your driving a boat (hard to control) but with the 20's im more attached to the road and feel safer. this same response has been given by my wife and by my father who have both driven the car before. my father was really sceptical and said that the car would probably ride really rough but now hes surprised. just make sure you go with the right tires.

hope this helps

So how did it ride at that speed. I remember having 19's on my Diamante and it wasnt exactly a smooth ride at high speeds.

I'm thinking of getting some 20's no drop, should I worry about rubbing at all? I have an 05 Tl 6spd A spec.

Quick Reply: I got sum 20's too!!
