I did one modification this year: ...
Guess what it is.
It was very inexpensive and shipped with a quickness from Ontario CA in a tube.
I just so happened to order just enough to make it happen.
And i didn't eff it up during the install.
But first, some shots of Jeremy's IS350. He was in town for a training class so we met up. Everytime i see his car it's different haha. The wheels were on someone's TL from Florida...
A quick glimpse at the Charlotte skyline, home of the Carolina Panthers whom are now 0-6.
And now the results of my one and only modification for 2010...
It's might be hard to tell from the photos but i installed yellow transparent vinyl on the headlights. I decided to go this route because both of the ballasts in my original headlights recently failed. So I swapped the headlights from the other TL and just applied the yellow vinyl. I was iffy as to whether or not the output was going to have a slight tint of green, but after the bulbs warm up it is nothing but a true, bright yellow.
Hope you enjoyed, it should be all that gets done this year.

Damn Jeremy's car is different every time I see it. The front lip is hawt but I miss the teal CEs
Eric I never would have thought YOU would put yellow film over the headlights. I'll have to see it in person to see what I think. You coming to the C&C/AZ meet on the 6th?
Edit: You did another mod! I see you ditched the LEGO spoiler and put a lip spoiler on. I like.

Eric, you have style and it shows in your mods.
A lot of the guys come on here and get flamed for their mods and then reference your ride. The difference between your ride and most others is your style. Obviously, you know what looks good and are not afraid to do something different, yet still keeping it classy.
Where as the others come here and ask for approval of their ride.
Keep up the great work.

The yellow headlights is a mod that i had always wanted to do after seeing countless spectacularly well done cars in the past. I figured I would give it a try and see what the results were. There is one other NBP TypeS that i had seen with the yellow film, and it looked good.

Hmmm Eric....I wonder what your yellow hued inspiration was? Perhaps the same inspiration that has made me run 3000k HID for the past couple of years? Yourself and Aaron need to come to Sebring with us in March!

Elaborate on your comment Sir. I predict you're thinking in your head that there is some rice in this thread. But i could be wrong, so feel free to elaborate.
RICE - Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.
The rice comment may have been a little strong. But your car just isn't my style at all. For along time you had an intercooler w/o a turbo or supercharger. Yellow 'tint' over your headlights reminds me of the kids that would show up at my school w/ flattened cardboard boxes and have dance offs (It just looks cheap). I do like some of the things you've done to your car and orginality is a great thing but...my preference is more towards OEM+. I like cars that the standard person couldn't tell anything was done to it, but they look at it and think it really catches their eye.

Thank you Sir!
I never knew you had 3000k hids! When did this happen? and why haven't i known. Maybe a failure to let the world of acurazine and the TL community what you have done to your TL?
Thanks Vinny.

I learn something new everyday. Race inspired cosmetic enhancement. Very nice. I like that. What does RIGA stand for? I have an idea.
Thank you Sir!
Thanks Vinny.

Thanks Kiran!
Only did two videos in the deck. Echos make for a raw effect.
Faiz said it looks kind of evil too. Time to lurk up on some trick or treaters ninja style.
Thanks! It's an acquired taste for sure.

Welcome to Olliewood
Would like it better with the headlights cleared, orange under the yellow isn't doing it for me. Out of all your mods, this is my least favorite..seems like a cop-out, if you wanted yellow light do it right (ex. yellow hid-kit). This is more of an afterthought, but regardless..car looks good as always, keep up the moddin.

this "acquired taste" you speak of has been acquired by me, and I have tasted it.
great work man funny thing is you can either do yellow very wrong for headlights on a car, or very rarely, it can be done just right, and you sir are the latter

Looking good man. I need to borrow your cam to make some videos.
You should come up to Mooresville tonight to eat cookout and go to the meet. I know you love cookout and we can shoot a pic to add to your burger joint TL shoot collection.

Eric, is just bored. i guess you get like that when youve done almost everything to your TL as far as modding. believe me i know.
that being said it looks ok, and easily reversible. not anything id do, but i do have hyper yellow DRL's though. hope cops are more forgiving in your area, or it might be ticket time.

It will probably be a fix it ticket, where i take the film off and then show proof that it's been corrected. We shall see how lucky I get.
