SUMMER UPDATE! I know I haven't posted in a while, but it's time again. I've had the summer wheels on since March (yes, I drove them through some snow a couple times, that's how we do in CO lol!). 19" RonJon Vega wrapped in 235/35/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE760. Awesome tires, great grip & feel. Every time I drive by a reflective window or a semi-clean car, can't resist looking at the rolling shot lol! Let me know what you guys think. A few cellphone pics below:

Well guys, got back from the National Meet a little while ago. Before I went, I thought I was pretty much done modding. After seeing some really clean TLs this year and the detail put into them, I realized I'm not done just yet lol!

Quick list of what's to come...

-RV-6 candy blue strut bar (thank you $100 gift certificate from the meet!) to match my Endless brakes
-JnC custom headlights with switchbacks (I'll reveal details once they're created)
-An engine cover...either painted or CF wrapped. I'm tired of waiting for the one I sent off to get wrapped more than a year ago.
-Partially modified front grille, most likely just plasti-dip & glossify the bottom V-shaped part of the grille

No major mods, but they should compliment and complete the look nicely!

Also, here's an EPIC rolling shot taken by Nyle from MN (great job!). Was taken after the National Meet when we were cruising near the hotel. If you look very closely, you can see the reflection of sauceja's ride too

I am definitely interested in the engine cover btw, how much are you looking for to take it off your hands? Let me know dude.

Thanks Rondy! I love em for sure, look came out just as I hoped. Glad you had one set left Oh, and if you're looking for more pics for the website, feel free. They're sitting on 235/35/19.

Small update that I should've posted a while back...couple engine bay shots with the new RV-6 candy blue strut bar. I like it a lot...can definitely feel a difference in handling, seems a bit stiffer than the stock hollow bar (plus it matches my Endless brakes ).

Not sure when the headlight mods will come, still debating on a few things. Might go with straight up Type-S style, clean & simple. We'll see. Pics will come, whatever ends up happening...

Quick Update...remembering what Summer Mode looks like and a couple shots of the new headlights...

Afternoon all! It's been a while since I've updated and since it's about 5-10 degrees here in suburban Denver...can't really go out and play lol!

Just a couple quick cell phone pics taken last month to remember what Summer Mode looks like...won't see these wheels on again until probably early May 2014

You can also see the new JnC headlights in these pics...as many others who have done business with him have already confirmed, he does amazing work! Very fast turnaround time, awesome price & great quality too. I'll try to get some more (and better) pics of them soon. Here's a brief rundown of the modification details:

-Gloss Black V3
-ZKW-R lenses (much clearer & brighter output now with stock 4300k bulbs)
-CF corners
-Horizontal chrome strip & fog light bulb cover painted gloss black
-USR clear diffusers

My original V2 LED switchbacks were busted, so I'm probably just gonna get a set of PIAA xtreme white corner bulbs (output very similar to 5000k) and call it good.

Winter mode pics will come after I can clean up the car a bit. It looks terrible right now after the weather we've had over the last few days here in Colorado (read: mag chloride & road dirt all over the damn car ). Just a hint...my winter mode isn't exactly "ugly" lol! As always, comments welcome

UPDATE TIME!!

What up y'all?! Time to give my photo thread a little revival! It just occurred to me that I promised winter mode shots over a year ago. Since it's a crisp 55 degrees here in Denver today, I figured it was a good time to snap a few new pics...as well as upload some from the National Meet last June. As always, comments & discussion is welcome!

After getting my 19" Vega wheels a couple years back, I decided to turn my former all-season wheels (18" Legend...now known as the Legacy 7) into my winter wheels. Just because you have winter wheels, doesn't mean they have to be lame! Wrapped them in some Blizzak LM-60s and they're money in winter weather. Currently in the second season with them now.

Couple CF engine cover pics...can't forget the under-hood awesomeness! I was lucky & picked this baby up on Ebay for $200...legit carbon fiber & molded. I've had it for a while and love this accent piece!

Also gotta remember what summer mode looks like with these few pics from the National Meet last year. Looking forward to it again. Summer mode will come again late April/early May 2015...counting down the weeks! I'll have durable ACURA lettering for the front bumper installed by then too. Photo credits to Chris C. Nice, brother...keep on keeping on...love seeing these year after year build threads where the person STILL appreciates and keeps up on their car.

I can't believe you have not coilover'd yet. You have a great style...keep it up, man.

Gracias Tyler! It's good to be back around again, finally got some time (and weather cooperation) to properly clean the ride so I had to bring the update. Hope you & your fiancee (or wife by now...?) are doing well bro.

Hahaha! Seek and ye shall find, my friend! Thanks for the props...means a lot coming from someone with such a clean ride. We sure are CSL brothers (the CF would look awesome on your ride, but I love that color matched one too)...and JDM brothers as well! Your Advans = They would look awesome with my Endless BBK. I am actually dropped...Tein H Techs & Tokico HTS. Good modest drop for here in CO, never really thought of going moar low. What are you dropped on? I forgot...

Thanks man! We are counting down the days until the wedding later this year! There is so much little crap we still have to do though

Yesterday's weather was fantastic! I finally got around to cleaning my TL as well. Don't be a stranger; share pictures more often!

Damn the car is looking really clean. Love the exhaust and I think that is the first time I've seen Endless brakes on a TL. We have a set on our TSX and they are simply amazing.

I definitely agree getting a nice coilover set is going to be better than the Tokicos. The body control should improve and you'll get to fine tune the height. Tein Street Advance will be a great step up.

Good for you man! Exciting for sure. I definitely plan to keep taking more pictures going forward, so I should have updates here a bit more often. The ATLP is still as badass as the day I installed it. I get compliments regularly and it sounds real smooth, especially at 1/2 pedal to WOT.

Thank you sir! Blizzaks rule...really second to none in winter driving compared to my old 970s. Still get the occasional wheel spin or slight slip, but they correct themselves quickly.

Ahhh, that's right! I thought it might have been Tein SS. Perhaps I may switch to coils at some point in the near future, we shall see. I definitely need to get new LCA compliance bushings though...121k miles in variable CO weather means they're pretty shot by now. And yes, we are HERRA JDM YO!! Actually, I consider my ride more of an American/Japanese/German mutt lol! Between the car build itself, my brakes & suspension and my exhaust...it's all over the map! Btw, have you ever done a photoshoot under MacArthur Causeway or along the beach?? It would look sick with your car as the focal point dude!

Thank you, Marcus! I appreciate the kind words. I still love the ATLP exhaust & v2 jpipe as much as the day I bought it. My research paid off lol! Funny story about the Endless brakes actually. Turns out that they're the same specs as the set on your shop TSX. My good buddy bought them from you for his supercharged CL7 Accord a few years back. When it came time for him to part out, we did a test fit on my '06 TL and they bolted right up! My car actually uses the same knuckle as the 04-08 TSX, which is pretty sweet! So that's how I became the only 3G TL with an Endless BBK. If I end up getting coils down the road, the Street Advance looks like a very good option...

Thanks-as a matter of fact, I grabbed it last Thursday and she's still home today. I'm holding out and keeping her home as long as I can. So.....what is your eye looking at as a 2nd car?

^^ Glad to hear the Vette is doing well, Steve! I have a buddy here that is going to be getting a new Z06 within the next few weeks...can't wait to see that. As for the car I'm targeting...it's a pretty rare one and a brand new model this year. True sports car and it's from the far East as well. That should give some clues...

Hmmm...I have not done that particular photo shoot, but that's a great idea!

The ZO6's are monsters! Ironically, mine looks like a ZO6 without the horsepower.

I'm happy with what I've got. The ZO6's are so "track-heavy".....pretty amazing.

Yours does look sick, that's for sure man! I saw my first C7 Z06 in the flesh this past Saturday at Cars & Coffee. Pretty sweet. White & Black color scheme. My only gripes...front lip & rear spoiler were plastic and there's too much plastic shrouding the engine bay. Other than that, sick car. Looks great!

So now since I'm replacing my LCAs this coming weekend (figure it's a good time as any), I'm also thinking about a suspension overhaul in the near future. Damned peer pressure lol! If I do it...gonna be sweet & gonna feel like a brand new car. We shall see...

That's why Steven has opted to replace all the things with real CF.
