Hiros on My Anthra

Hey guys, first pics of my ride. I just got the 19x8.5s all around wrapped in Azenis St-115 245/35/19's. Just washed too! I hope to get tint by the end of this week as well. Thanks to zhalvaje for the choice of rims and inspiration.

I did take lowering the car into consideration, but right now it is not very high on my list of mods/upgrades. It probably needs an 1-1.5'' and that would cost near a grand for a that tein s-tech kit installed...right?

What I would like to do is clear my headlights though, and get that 5% tint in

S-tech is not that expensive, you can actually get one from e-bay for $120 plus shipping. mine cost around 270 including installation from a local performance shop. Car looks good! Merry Christmas

i dropped mine with comptech for bout 300 installed...i dont suggest clearing your headlights...they come sealed and vacuum packed from factory...to clear em you have to break em open which lets in moisture and opens yourself up to problems...just my opinion..

Everyone really needs to chill about people lowering their cars.

Everytime anyone posts their ride that isn't dropped, multitudes of people start bitching about how bad the car needs to be lowered. For some it is not practical/cost effective. And while it does look good, it is not THAT noticeable of a mod to the average person. The wheels and the overall badassness (its a word now) of the TL are plenty for some.

Sorry for the rant, but I see this go on way too much. It's safe to say anyone that reads this site is has a discerning enough taste to know that a drop looks good, but it is not an absolute necessity to some. You don't see people screaming out "you need wheels/tint/cleared head lights/spoiler/led interior/shift knob/door sills", so there is no need to hassle people about a drop.

Again, sorry for the rant, this has been on my mind for quite a while after reading this site. It's like being in high school again and hearing about how this person doesn't have so and so book bag or jacket or some shit.

Car looks great! Don't like the rims though. They look like they belong on a 4 banger

Buy a Touring Luxury Car for $35k and "drop or slam it" to the ground and get a more bumpier ride then a KIA so that 10 % of the people looking @ your car from the outside can figure out that you have modded it...not my cup of tea...

BTW ashaman, I like those rims on an Anthracite

By posting your basically asking for our opinions and suggestions!

Opinion: the car is beautiful especially with the gunmetal wheels.

Suggestion: The car would look better with a drop.

MOST of us dont like the gap between the tire and the wheel wells!

You need a drop, and a body kit.. and you'll be set. I'm not the biggest fan of rim color matching the body color, but in your case, it looks good b/c of the aluminum border.
