what do u guys do with the tint tickets? Pay them or go to court and settle/pay? Just curious...

 

i got 20% all around and 30% in front, with my black roof it look sick but cops are killin me, whenever i take out my care(usualy i drive only weekends) i get ticket everytime....but it look to good to take it off...

 

well u kno i just have to show mines aswell here it is.... by the way looks clear at night hate me tho lol

Which state allows 50%?

Only North Dakota and Ohio allow it. --->70% You would think the two states that would have it would be maybe Arizona and Florida? Go figure.

New Mexico doesn't allow it, but its probably the most lax state in the us for tint enforcement, while being the only one that allows as low as %20 in the front.

 

I just pay it and forget about it. I have had 4 now. I really don't care lol. $75 here and there to have my windows how I like them is worth it to me

 

since i posted till today i have not been pulled over for it. one state trooper noticed it and pointed it out but didnt care told me to keep it movin

 

I had a 04 NBP tinted with 35% on the windshield and limo on the rest , sticking cops would always give me a summons but i had pics of my car before the tints so the judge would end up dismissing the case ..... Oh by the way i am now a proud owner of a 08 WDP TL-S and loving it

 

might as well post mine up also..PBA cards work! i was in a rush one day to try to get home asap cuz i had to take a mean piss..so i cut off a car going really slow to go around them not realizing it was undercover NYPD..whipped out the card and got away with a warning and no ticket - they didnt even notice my windshield was blue ..thought it just came like that stock

^^Why did you tint it blue? Black or smoke would look 10x better

 

i've had my windshield tinted on a few of my past cars, and one thing that helps with keeping the fuzz off your ass is to get the tint cut out around your stickers...a guy in lawrence off of rockaway blvd did mine and cut around the stickers perfectly...next time im on LI, i'm getting mine done at 35%

 

cuz i wanted to be different..it looks better in person and cops barely notice it - ive gotten pulled over before just for my 2 front windows..and they didnt even say anything about my windshield

 

well my tls dont got a front windshield but my previous car was dark as hell here are some picture of it

we need ralph's car on here too lol.. so people on here that their tints are super LIGHTS... why go light when you still gonna get a ticket...well not me but u know what i mean lol... im gonna super limo and 15 in the front for the summer on the tls...

 

What I do and I have not gotten a ticket yet is first I got my sunroof tinted 15% and I keep it open everywhere I drive. It lets in enough light that cops can see you on a sunny day. 35% windshield, 15% sides/sunroof, 5% rear

my TL-S is on the left, the car on the right has 20% windshield, 5% all around
