Hello all-dropping in to say hello and show my ride

Well it's true I still miss this community a lot and lerk on here every now and then.

Well, I flew my dad out from WI to Pennsylvania to pick it up and drive it back, and I got my car delivered on fathers day. It was the exact color combo, I was looking for and AWD for the right price. Prior to me even purchasing my car I had on order the Skipper carbon fiber front lip (it took almost 3 months to come in) and my Beatsonic NAV/DVD bypass. Once I got my car, I installed my Beatsonic right away and then my Blendmount Radar setup, I got the windows tinted %20 and carbon fibered overlayed the mid bumper, and the spoiler, I then removed my calipers sand blasted them and painted them Red with a F Sport logo, I then purchased Lumin-X for the rear red reflector, and most recently installed RSR Super Downs (love the drop!) and custom fabbed Invidia full catback exhaust which I have the mid pipe resonators cut out and replaced with a straight pipe, I also have 19" Vertini Magic Concave rims that i will be putting on the car for winter.
I came from a 07' Acura TL Type S that I modified quite a bit. I like the Lexus alot, but I also miss some of my features that my Acura had.

Definitely a nice car. We picked up a new one last year and I've driven it quite a few times, it's a very good car.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the F Sport!!! One of the few vehicles that would probably easily get me out of my mint fourteen thousand mile 6mt Type S. No offense as we all have our own taste, but the car sound terrible with the exhaust. Besides that it is just incredible.

Weighs about 3800 lbs. TL is about 3500-3600.

That thing has a good amount of power for what it is.

That's a good looking car and white is the color I would have also got.

That exhaust does sound super raspy... Sounds like something that would be on a Honda civic lol.

Love that interior color too.

I expected more from a fsport. Guess it's more of an appearance package like an aspec.

Well as far as the exhaust sounds goes. I loved my TL Type S exhaust setup I had, super throaty and mean as hell. I wish I could replicate that sound on this car. Just to let you know, there is NO aftermarket mid section pipe avialiable for a AWD only axle back. As far as I'm aware of Invidia, Meisterschaft and the Meisterschaft setup would cost of $4k so thats out of the picture (ripoff), and Joe-Z are the only companys that offer a axle back system. With that being said, I purchased the Invidia axle back and put it on my car, and it was pretty much pointless, it hardly provided any different exhaust note and was barely louder than stock. After putting on that axle back and hearing no noticable change I purchased the Invidia RWD midsection pipe and had it custom fabericated to fit my AWD setup. As far as I know I'm the 2nd person in the world who has done this, so I'm doing this in uncharted waters. After getting the midsection custom fabercated in the exhaust the exhaust was louder, but it was only louder when it was above like 4k RPM. With that being said it still wasn't loud enough for me, so I had the 2 Invidia mid section resonators cut out in hopes of making it louder. Well yeah it made it really loud, but with the cost of rasp. It's not the ideal sound I was looking for, but I like how loud it is. Speakers I dont think do justice for any exhaust sound, but I personally do not think it is that horrible.

If someone could point me in the direction of 70mm resonator that would only cut the rasp down and keep the decibels it would be appreciated.

i enjoy that you're innovating with the F-sport!
cant wait till you experiment and find that sweet spot for the exhaust note!

The F sport is a package that just slightly tweeks the car for sportiness.

Your thinking of the F line like IS-F, LFA, upcoming RC-F.

That's completely different.

They offer most of their cars even SUVs in the F-Sport trim...

IS250 f-sport etc etc.

It's like BMW with the M-package or audi with their S-Line vehicles. It's not necessarily a high horsepower motor just small cosmetic things to appear more sporty. Maybe even sporty suspension and what not.

Anyways IS-350 F-Sport and IS-F are two different animals.

A GS-F doesn't exist.... yet lol they should make one to compete with the M5 or E63 AMG

You have NO idea how glad I am that you pointed this out. F and F Sport are not the same!! LOL So many people come up to me and are like "Hey man nice car, is that the new F-Sport??" I just shake my head and walk away. As you stated, the ISx50 F-Sport and IS-F are two VERY different cars.

Your comparison to M-Sport and S-Line is spot on as well. For some reason, people can't distinguish between F and F-Sport. I think it's because the IS-F is so rare and it's the only model in the F lineup, so far (besides the LFA of course). This is why I purchased it over the M3 (plus the reliability factor), I probably see 10 M3s per week between the E46 and E9x, I have only seen two IS-F's in my area since 2008. Literally.

Well with the correction factor it is actually putting down 270whp to 4 tires, not 2. Obviously more is better.

Yes they are coming out with a GS-F which is highly under wraps right now and it will probably be released in late 2015, but it is speculated that it will compete with the M5 & E63 and cost around $80k optioned out.
