lcrazyaznl- I can edit it in photoshop if you wanna send me one of the un edited shots of my evo. I've got almost 10 years of design experience with the adobe suite. Shots look hot by the way.

No harm then man. I just got kind of pissed because Jeff did a lot of hard work getting shots for people at the meet. I can see how the boom rig would be un-ideal for video!

24 fps is considered 'movie-like', 30 fps is a bit more for fast motion. At least that's how Canon dubs it.

look it up buddy 24 fps is United States Industry standard for film... even slow motion shot at 60 fps or higher is slowed to 40% if you do the math thats... OH 24fps... I shoot with a RED and a Canon 7D... and yeah the rig would just be a nightmare for video, I could remove it no problem(after a couple beers) but I dont have the time or patience ... lol but cool Ill have to build one of these and shoot some stuff

yeah 60 at 720 was the standard for home movie cams still is actually... and 30 at 1080 is pretty close to 24 but the refresh rates are a bit too fast... 60 at 720 is perfect for slow mo... like I said slow it to 40% and you've got 24 fps and some smooth slowmo

Dude seriously they are quick edits for guys I'm not going spend all day working on them. I'm a busy guy if you want to say sorry and still insult me seriously your not sorry at all.

Your the one coming in with the comment "useless piece of photo equipment" what about other photographers who work solo. and "sloppy edits"?

Of course if i had a crew and working for a commercial shoot i'd use a jib crane on another vehicle cuz i would have what a driver in BOTH cars and myself to use the camera remotely... but is that practical for a small meet just out having fun? no

Not to mention I wouldn't shoot it in broad daylight since you can't get the motion blur needed for more than 1-3 seconds. I was just humoring people in some quick shots, and showing how it works.

Seriously you can ask other photographers they use a simialr setup if not better or worse and get usable shots.

I did quick shots out of kindness, and all your doing is talking smack about a good deed for forum members. I'm sure you don't go and do free hard work.

I respected your apology at first but then you came back with that comment...

I do a lot of free work... just got back from Haiti on a charity shoot... I didnt mean to offend you with the photo edits... all I was saying was that I wouldnt use a rig if I couldnt get rid of it completely... and the "useless" comment was before I realized what it was for... I admire your work, I dont shoot cars... so I love seeing people who do... dont take this stuff seriously... I wasnt here to insult... just to get informed... I have looked at your stuff and it is excelent... keep up the good work dont let the comments of some videographer get you down on your skilllllzzzz man... Keep it up

I do free work too, but you do realize I did quick edits and shots for them out of good will. I spent over a week with jon's rig shots and not to mention im still learning... you being 20 years old means your still learning too.

And you saying you didn't mean to offend me yet you still, insult me with your remarks.

" I didnt mean to offend you with the photo edits... all I was saying was that I wouldnt use a rig if I couldnt get rid of it completely..."

I stated several times earlier that their quick edits and I did not like the conditions I was shooting, but I figured I humor people and see what I can get.

I know aznbenz07 has far more experience in editing than me, but that comes with experience.

im sorry if i misjudged you, but 18 thousand dollar video cam with equally expensive attachments + an 08 TL doesnt add up in my mind. but ill give you the benefit of the doubt bc i dont feel like arguing anymore.
but the point is... you were disrespectful and he was sticking up for himself as was i sticking up for him. just be careful not to step on people's toes bro.

I didnt say that it was all your fault that it cant be removed... you are assuming that... There are situations where it will be very difficult if not impossible to remove it perfectly... for instance in the flare of the window in thats second shot....

No problem bro I understand... yes my father helped me with my car... and the RED is not my personal cam... I said I shoot on RED... I work for a company that has 2... and the 7D is my personal cam... didnt mean to step on toes. I apologize for my remarks... keep up the good work to all photographers... I love seeing the shots... oh and by the way great meet...

Yes and when I Actually do a SHOOT I find a controlled location, you got to be kidding me this was at a meet and I said I was doing it out humor for people who asked me to see how it works and runs.

I know some can't be removed perfectly that is why it takes time and making sure it comes out editable in post.

I spend time with people who want rig shots If you see my other shots they are much more controlled. I knew when I was setting the rig up I'd get shadows like crazy on one side and flares on another. But I still shot and tried to deliver one or two shots for some of the owners.

Thought I'd throw it out there- your RL=my favorite car out of all of em in this thread. Looks awesome and sounds freaking gorgeous. Not ricey sounding like some of TLs in the videos.

tonight I hope. My problem is I don't have Fios so my internet upload is pretty lame.

Videos are 1080p and huge.

Trying to edit one for giggles to see if I can make it smaller maybe and cut out the boring parts of me arguing with the video recording guy...without knowing that he's recording the whole time
