Anyone who has had the halo headlights installed, what is your view on the them?

What brand?

Durability?

Worth the money?

Ask JnK or AckTL05 They should have a lot of info for you. Since they do Headlights all the time...

 

I don't like Halo's I wouldn't do them

 

Unless you drive a BMW...Halos FTL

i think the halos look good

 

its always good to look unique.. A lot of other car manufacturers are taking the audi led strips so i don't see whats wrong with putting halos on a tl.

 

yeah i dont get why people are saying halos dont look good on the 3Gs...



i think they look sinister.

 

I love the look!!! Haven't given it a shot yet...but Aaron(sharksbreath) and his sexy car, makes me think about taking the plunge...

that's why they have mixed reviews. BUT...someone just figured out the problem/solution and posted vids in the problems/fixes section. check it out when you get a chance. when they work, i think they look fantastic.

that is my next project...getting mine fixed so they stay reliable.

Aaron's looks good WOW, I never even noticed till just now!

 

I think they look good on a 3g. But don't go cheap.

 

Just like other states, looks good when they are fully functional

 

Thanks Aaron. I did look at that thread and it does seems to resolve the problem everyone is having.

 

Halos=BMW
LED Strips=Audi

All the other halos/strips look like crap. The halos on the Range Rover look terrible and the strips on the Chrysler look beyond disgusting. You have a Acura please don't do this.

i like the look. someone on here has red halo's on a NBP type s and it just looks evil

Why do any of these cars today have any headlights?
We're all copying Cadillac. TAKE THOSE HEADLIGHTS OFF.

Maybe we shouldn't of copied NA BMW with Xenon headlights also?

Maybe the Mercedes C Class shouldn't copy the TL A SPEC body design?

 

I also had a set of halos and they worked for bit and went out. The ring itself cracked, so I just plugged them and left it. For the short time I had them they did look pretty sweet.

 

So far I should not recommend any but if I do it again I would try the halos on superbrightleds.com . They look more durable in connection than the Orion V2. Anyway IMO, Angel Eyes look cool and unique.

And also, if these Halos last me at least a year than I don't mine chopping my headlights up and putting new ones in (through warranty). Cause everyday I get compliments from random people, which at times, are worth the time.
