Alright, I think I found my exhaust. Which one do you have the Evo or Evo2? And this is the model for the 2001 CL-S correct?
How much extra work was needed to install this baby as well? I can get an Evo2, which is a full stainless steel set-up for around $750 shipped.

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
Although I don't like the look of the can hanging down so low, you have the best sounding 3G I have heard.
Results are in................
BTW - you really shouldn't run the car in the garage like that with the door down. We all appreciate the results though! That's the sound I've been looking for!

See this is the kind of stuff I was talking about.
I am so jealous.
When I hear this car all of a sudden I want to bust out with the checkbook and hook up my TL.
The only problem is then every Tom, DICK and Harry on the street that pulls up next to you is gonna want to race you. when they hear that sound.......
Good job man, that is top notch

My shop charged me $60 to redo the exhaust. I will take some under pics the mods were easy and it is worth it!! Very happy I am going to buy a new mic and take some more sound clips. Thanks. I think mine is the Evo. I am going to SEMA this year and I will talk with Greddy about this exhaust.

I'm probably going to go with this Greddy Exhaust, I spoke with a custom shop here about doing a magnaflow polished stainless steel set-up and we are looking at around $500 installed. I havent decided for sure which route I'm going to go with.

One on the right for me
I like it, though it is louder than what I would want on my TL...I dont want to draw a lot of attention to my car. Good job on getting it done instead of opting for the comptech.

Nice man! I love the sound of the Greddy Evo's, it has a certain tone to it. Could you get another clip so we can hear the exhaust under load? Try to get one from outside and you driving away, seems to work the best for me. I can't wait until Greddy comes out with the Evo 2 for our tl's.

Could you get a few more clips for us? I too want to hear what it sounds like outside. My comptech exhaust's actually really loud when I was driving in Triumph plaza parking garage.... it actually set off a few car alarms when I revved it.
thanks alot 1fastS4.com !! Perhaps I too want to convert it to Greddy

Not to go off topic (although I am), but did anyone else hear how pissed off 1FastS4's dog was at the end of the first sound clip (the one in the garage)?
I didn't hear it the first time I listened, but just re-listened and heard it. Thought it was pretty funny.
I don't think your puppy is a Greddy fan!

1) Sounds awesome!!
2) This may sound silly, but has anyone contacted Greddy about an exhaust? If they, like most companies, aren't planning anything for us, maybe we could tell them how 1FastS4.Com modified one of their existing set ups...ie show them how easy it would be to create an exhaust for us.

How does this compare to the comptech sound wise?
I like the sound, but it might be a little too raspy for my tastes. I want a really deep tone but not too much volume. Just enough to let you know it's there but still refined.
PS. Anyone wanting to sell their comptech to switch to this setup, send me a e-mail.

Your 2nd clip took awhile to load and doesn't seem to work too well. But I got all the other ones. The exhaust has a nice loud tone, very aggressive and deep With the garage door closed, it made it sound even louder, very nice work buddy!
Peeps, don't under estimate the Comptech Exhaust. It's actually has a deeper tone, just not as loud. But if you remove the resonator, it's just as loud as the greddy, if not.. louder. I'll make a clip of it to compare in the near future.
Again, nice work buddy.

I dont know. I think i like Comptech better. To me the Greddy sounds just a bit "throatier" than some of those whiny civics I hear around here and almost as loud.
I think thats why I like the comtech better, smoother and not as loud.

I was wondering if someone was going to attempt this mod.
Good work man, i like it.
Greddy will probably take this into consideration...people are modding the F out of the 3rd gen TL's.

Great mod, I'm not into the look of the mufflers from the side of the car and the way they appear too close to the ground that they could rub, love the sound clips...my ( I'm jealous )
