Got bored and decided to play with some vinyl
I decided to Di Noc my center console and the faux cf panels on all for 4 and around the steering wheel controls. I'm definitely diggin the Di Noc look over the ugly ass faux cf.
Also, decided to put matte black on the silver strip on the hood and little trim piece that goes around the bottom of the the grille, obviously not the best picture. Not sure if I like or not, but it does match my blacked out t bar and blacked out headlamps.

Thanks on the Di Noc work, but if you look closely you can see the weave doesn't go the same direction on all the separate pieces. It probably isn't noticeable to most people, but it drives me crazy because I'm anal about things like that.
Oh, thanks for the compliment on the screen name too.
If you don't mind me asking how much was it to get all four wheels Plasti dipped?

^^^ No, I noticed the weave. I thought you did it on purpose.

Wow 5 cans was enough for all four wheels? Also, how's it been holding up?

I used to play around with a lot of CF when I was younger and lived at home. I actually have about 30yds of 6k 5hs here now that I got a great deal on. I don't know why but 5hs weave is my all time favorite followed close by spread tow. I like to get back into making some CF stuff again, but all my mold making and vacuum bagging supplies are at my dad's house in WI. He's planning on moving down here in a couple years so I'll be able to get back into real CF again.

I wish you had your CF stuff down here, Id come down to myrtle and pay you to help me with my ASpec kit, I want to do CF on the gray parts on the front and back lips... I also did my interior with the 3M DiNoc, it came out great. I still need to do the doors though.

Just wanted to give you guys an fyi. The only reason I used Di Noc is because I had some laying around. Otherwise, I absolutely would've went with Hexis. There Vinyl is pretty much superb in every aspect compared to 3M. Particularly for external vehicle wraps.
If you want to scope out one of their websites go to www.ilovehx.com. I'll admit it's not the best site around, but their customer service is second to none. They'll hand out free samples and swatch books with all their vinyls, and their prices really can't be beat for such a high grade product. I bought 3yds x 54" for $82 shipped. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way vinyl wrapping a roof really isn't a one man job.
Just so you know I am in no way affiliated with Hexis in anyway shape or form. I just thought I'd share with you a great product. PM me if you want some contact info about getting some catalogs, samples, swatch books or perhaps even some orders.
I am also am in no way shape or form a 3M hater.

Btw. Redoing the dinoc won't change that it looks like its going in different directions.
It's the angle and contour of what you've covered that makes it look that way. The way the light hits it makes it look different
The only thing u can mess up usually is if you mix it up horizontally and vertically.

Now here's a pic of the cruise buttons wrapped in Di Noc:
And here's the center after I redid it, and lined up the weave;
Here's the rest of the center console by the shifter:
And here are the faux carbon on the doors wrapped in Di Noc:
