Decided that my stock back-up bulbs were WAYY too dim and were verging on useless.. Went to auto zone, picked up some superbright bulbs. Here's my installation.
New bulb is blue, stock is clear
Dipped new bulbs in this stuff:
Perfect fit:
Stock on right, new bulb on left:
Final:
Install took 10 minutes, bulb pack was $10.

>.< Just didn't occur to me. Now that I've used them at night, I can say that I am happy with their brightness

Thanks swoosh! By the way, love your build!
Thanks man! AM is such a common color, lol.
ALSO: Here's a sound clip of my exhaust. I am thinking about possibly becoming a vendor of this exhaust. I could possibly produce it for as little as $499 with flanges (completely an estimate at this point). It would be the cheapest catback for the TL. It would be made of Aluminum piping, not SS, but that would really only be a problem in some of the worst weather states. Would anybody be interested?

As far as getting buyers for that cat-back. No one is gonna want to shell out half a grand on something that doesn't have proof (graphs) of power gains

True, true... guess I should dyno it. It's a pretty simple set up though, 2.5" from the J-Pipe back. Should gain the same as XLR8/ATLP/CTech.

Thanks bro. I deleted the mufflers and kept two resonators before the Y-Pipe. I also kept ample space to where I could add another Glass-Pack muffler before the Y-Pipe if it was too loud. One of the resonators is the Dynomax from the Stage 3 mod. The other is an 18" AP glass-pack.

Ya its a 6 speed. Like I said down the road if I find a used Greddy or ATLP base for the right price I might jump on it.

Don't rule out XLR8 either, they make a great exhaust!

This weekend I dropped $1500 on my car for maintenance. I did the 90K timing belt/water pump service, tune up, cabin air filter and the two recalls. They also found two broken engine mounts (which somehow I never noticed any symptoms of...) which were covered by my warranty I bought from the dealership that I bought the car from. The car feels amazing to drive now; so smooth, and the throttle response is better, too. It's great, because I got all the main expensive maintenance stuff done and my baby should last me quite a long time with only brake jobs and oil changes to worry about.
For those in the DFW area: I would highly recommend Jordan at David McDavid Acura in Plano. She was excellent and the entire experience was painless.

Also, first to second feels a LOT more smooth now... guess the broken engine mounts were making it a bit jerky...
Thinking my next mod will be a CAI, only thing I'm worried about is flooding... somebody talk me into buying it!

^^^ :noob:
well your in TX and people down there are more worried about droughts than floods
but in all honesty, the only time when you will hydolock your engine is when you are sitting in a foot or more deep water and keep punching the gas !!!, you can drive through a pond with your engine off (in N) without hydrolocking your engine
