Here's my one and only defi imperial white boost gauge which reads in lbs. Defis tend to read a little high, or atleast the boost one does. Peak boost reads at 6lbs with the comptech blower, but it's closer to 5lbs...

Just incase there are people playing games in this thread, some of the moderators can read IP adresses and can determine if one username comes from the same adress as a different username.

 

i also personally know the owner of the blue STi and i also know who trueSTIowner is. they are 2 different people so i don't think that there are people playing games here.

i think base TL gauge looks much better than Type-S gauge

 

Oddly enough all the STI pics are taken with a Nikon D80... yet the pic of the TL-S Cluster doesn't even identify the camera... save the pics and look at the EXIF data... elkayem obviously stole the pics... is the TL-S Cluster pic even his?

 

I think I am going to go with either the Cobalt or the Nexus from Autometer.

These should match an 06 pretty well

 

yes trueSTIowner and iGOTnoSTI is me... i registered twice becuase the 1st time somehow the avtivation didnt get through... i didnt really want to end up like this but i just cannot stand elkayem stealing pictures of my budies cars and claimming it's his sti... this is not the first time elkayem has stolen pics of my buddies cars and claims it's his... i have proof of his previous attemp to claim my buddies sti... which is also the same blue sti... i am not here to fool arnd with multiple accounts... i'm just here to stop elkayem and let everyone know that he does not own that sti which everyone giving props for and him taking all the credits...

 

maybe the picture of the TL-S is not his, but he does in deed have a black TL-S... he's been raving abt it all over other not so related car forums... but no he does not own the sti...

^^ indeed. If you search ebay you will find a pic of my TL back in it's early stages. Some dude is using a pic of my car to advertise the spoiler he's got for sale.

elkayem... Dude. What teh Eff. I wouldn't appreciate it if someone pretended my TL was their own. There's no sense in pretending about things like that, so why do it.

 

Idling it reads vaccuum which is around the 20 mark. When you're driving around out of boost it acts as a mile per gallon gauge, where the more open the throttle is the closer it gets to boost, and when you actually open up the throttle enough to enter boost it starts reading the boost, anywhere from 1lb up to 5lbs.

 

Also, I want to add that the imperial white version of the defi lineup matches almost exactly to the colors of the non type S gauge cluster, (blue, red, and white)

You will need the Defi link meter, and the boost gauge. If purchased new, the link meter is around $115, and the boost gauge is around $260.

 

i hate my OEM TL-S Red guages... i miss the blue of the 04-06 TL's

 

...i still remember the first time i laid my eyes on the oem cluster about 4 years ago. The blue will put you in a trance.

 

^ seriously. and i remember the NY Auto Show website, was using our Blue TL's gauges as the main graphic when you first entered their website.... the blue just kicks ass, and all you guys with your defi gauges... shit looks proper

I love how they light up when you open the door... when I saw that in the dealership I was sold. And when the car is off all the numbers and everything are blacked out, love it.
They should have done the same thing with the TypeS gauges and only changed the colour... not the whole design. But it's more unique in a way.
I'm really liking aznbo187's set-up... want to trade TL's man? (jk)

It's ok bud. You don't have to disappear into thin air. I don't know you, and most people here don't. But I could lend you some advice that could be beneficial in your life so you don't have to feel like you've done something wrong. I'm a criminal justice major, and some of the things people like me are interested in are the how's and why's as to why different people engage in delinquent acts. What you've done here is not extremely normal, and if this trend continues with you, further on down the road you might end up in some legal trouble. Being 19, you're at your peak for engaging in criminal acts, and after 20 your chance of engaging in crime will start to decline. So just take this into consideration the next time you decide to pretend a particular car is yours, when in actuality it's not.

OMPrelude. i know that 13.2 second I/C & S/C TL has some kind of gauge setup... post some pics!!

 

..the scary thing with OMPs car is i think the 13.2 run was without the intercooler, so it's possible he might break into the 12s!!!

 

i need to get my N/A ass to the track, or buy a gtech... im hoping i can break into the mid-13s !!!

 

hehehe i run a 13.1 without a intercooler, but until i finnish up on the setup will take pics for everyone, and gauge setup. If i can get more traction i should be able to run high 12s
