Thank you sir, let's hope not. Been a lot of rain and nothing yet.
Come wash it for me
It kinda matches my calipers I'm gonna redo it sometime, I was experimenting with a chrome base.
Thanks Steven! I knew we'd have the same perspective
haha I feel ya man, I followed Jeremy's thread about condensation and you started chiming in and were having a hell of a time with it. Glad you got it figured out, even though you had to buy a new headlight.
Let's see it! But this is powder, not paint

IMHO, the 2 BEST things you can do to eliminate/minimize condensation are:
1.) Use the Nissan Butyl Rubber Sealant to reseal the lights. Part# B655389915 at the Nissan parts desk;
2.) Use dessicant packs. Your headlights come with them for a reason. Get new ones if you can.

Yeah I know man, and out of absolutely nowhere too
I used the black RTV silicone. It worked on my first set so I figured I'd use it on the second And I don't think I ever even saw the dessicant packs These headlights were only 3 months old so if they had them, oh well

usually some misting up is alright, means basically the humid air inside cant escape the headlight quick enough. the silica packs usually do the trick there. but your case was obviously a bit more advanced
ive never used the nissan stuff before, would it be applied where the glue actually is when we open the headlights? or do we apply it to the outside area where the lens and housing meet?
