Finally took a few pics of the new toy

I got it a week or so ago and I havent had a camera to take any pics... finally used an old Kodak digital camera to take some pics today. Sorry about the quality, but this is until I can get my hand on a good camera. It could use a wash and wax but its still kinda chilly here in Philly for all that.

I'll be getting type-s tails, and tint next week... and I got my switchblade key on order. The car came with the Ipod adapter so I didnt have to worry about that, I think that'll be it as far as any mods for a while then maybe some wheels in 6 months or so.

I cant figure why the color of my interior wont show up in the pictures... it looks so light on the pictures, but its actually Camel and looks so good... like dark peanut butter

I know everyone has seen 100 stock 3rd Gen's but I figured what the....

Nice car. Be careful how close you park to curbs though I see you are almost touching it. These tires offer no rim protection and youm will end up with lots of damage if you are not careful.

Im getting it done in South Philly, same guys that have done every other car that I've had. $200 and im supplying the moleskin.

As far as the curb rash, Im not too concerned about it. Its a pet peeve of mine parking a foot away from the curb, I think truly good parkers can park without worrying about hitting it.

Yeah I was. And then I test drove this car and it was a wrap. I think it was the interior that closed the deal, I love the camel color.

I dont really know the name of the place. If you take 76 and get off at the South street exit, its the first right you come to after crossing the bridge, i think its like bambridge street or something but dont quote me on the street name. They have tinted the last 5 cars that I've owned. Absolutely perfect. They dont use moleskin though but will put it on if you bring it, so I ordered some last week. They quoted me $200, If you want the number PM me and I'll give it to you.

I want to get 20% but I work in a township where the Police need something to do, and I dont really wanna be the object of their attention everyday. Im leaning towards 35% but I wanna see how it looks on a NBP before I say for sure.

I'm only 27 but I have the early stages of arthritis in my hands so after working at a bank counting money and typing all day my hands hurt just to grip the wheel, so the thicker the wheel, the looser I can grip the wheel. I know it doesn't look aesthetically the best but its functional for my situation

From a native philly guy now living in Sunny FL, welcome and congrats on your car - my 08 is WDP/Camel. The interior color is great but its hard to keep clean - invest now in some Lexol. This is a great forum to receive all kinds of info and ways to spend your money on mods if you're into that.

I was clearly being facetious... but I guess there's a douche bag in every bunch, why not just go past the thread if you have nothing to bring to the table other than being a smartass, why be "that" guy??

no reason to be offensive.. you posting pics of your new TL on / near the curb is almost AZ sacrilegious and definitely offensive . It made all of us cringe.. then commenting on how good drivers can park close and not rub.. I'd like to see closeups of those rims.. because turning in or out I can't see how you couldn't rub. Try to keep it mellow.. and congrats on the 3G.. treat her nice or else you'll piss us off.. lol..

Facetious =

1 : joking or jesting often inappropriately : waggish <just being facetious>
2 : meant to be humorous or funny : not serious <a facetious remark>

It's clear that Im touching the curb so I didnt think I had to say I was joking about my "parking skills" when you can clearly see that Im parked a centimeter from the curb lol...

Sorry if anyone was offended.

You can sell your rims on the AZ black market if you decide to get new wheels. You could fix the curb rash.. throw some duplicolor and clear on those babies and maybe break even on a new pair of wheels.. just a suggestion.
