The Clay Bar comes in a kit, which involves a bar of clay, and quik detailer. Tlzx9 - thanks for the info, maybe I missed it but can you recommend a good "polish" I am not sure I ever did that step, usually I wash, (havent used clay but I will now with this car) then if needed 3M glaze, then wax. Is the polish like the glaze or no?

Typically, a glaze is the same as a polish, it just depends on the brand. I usually use Meguiar's Show Car Glaze, that's my favorite. You can buy it on their web site here http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguia...o.cfm&sku=M-07 You really just have to find what your paint needs most, and use that. Sounds like you're already on a good road using the 3M glaze, then wax. I recommend Meguiar's products 100%. I have been using them for over 15 years and it is a superior product. Later!

Wow, that is one bad ass looking ride man! Very clean and detailed oriented. What would you reccomend product wise on the interior of the car for the leather, dashboard etc.

I think Zaino is a top of the line product as well, however I have never had any experience with it. The guys that use it swear by it, but I don't buy into all the hype and ULTRA DETAILED instructions on can's and can'ts with the product. I'll stick with what I know, and it seems to be working just fine!

DAP question
I have read alot about the DAP and how great everyone's results are using this tool. I also read about how careful you have to be when cleaning your car to avoid swiirls (really key with my Black 2005). Can a first time user of an electric polisher do more harm than good? I really want the deep, dark, wet shine that I see in the pics and it seems that the DAP is the secret.

The beauty of the DAP is that it is "fool proof." No disrespect meant. It is specifically designed so that untrained people can very effectively polish their car without burning the paint like you can with higher end professional grade polishers. Definately go for the DAP, and have fun!

"Burning the paint" basically means that if you use a professional grade polisher, and you use it at too high a speed, or use too much pressure, it will cause for blemishes within the paint that are very difficult to get out, that often require repainting. This is the main reason why most people stay away from professional grade polishers. You can do anything you want with the DAP, and never damage the paint. Good stuff!

I have been looking into get the same Chromes for my NBP as well.
My TL is an 06 with the TPMS, do you know if I would have any issues with the exchange, are the rims any different from 04-06 (notch for TPMS)? I called the company in CA and they said it should be no issue, but wondering if you may know for sure.

You certainly seem to to be the right person to ask this question. You car speaks louder than any detailers website/ad.
Will the 'Meguiar's Show Glaze polish' in the following sequence take care of the swirls?
1) Clay bar - entire car
2) Meguiar's Show Glaze polish with Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher
3) Meguiar's NXT applied with DAP
If I were to add Scratch-X into the mix here (I have a lot of swirls) - would I do it before step 2 or after step 2 or in place of step 2?
Also - does the wax go right on after the polish/Scratch-X or is following the sequence?

2. Clay
3. Wash
4. Scratch - X
5. Wash
6. Wax
