My RDX wheels finally came in yesterday, so today promptly at 9am I had an appointment at my local Acura dealer to put those puppies on!

At first I was really nervous thinking they would look too blingy, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome. They look like they should have been an option on these cars!

Obviously from the pictures I went with the Chrome - Look and they're wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT's 245-35-19

I noticed last night that if you turn the wheel lock to lock they do rub a very little bit but other than that it drives like it has stockies on it.

 

are they clearence just for the chrome finish

 

Nope, Sparkle Silver is the same price as well.

Chrome is not really my thing but I do dig those rims !
A little detail that would go well with those would be the Type-S Front and rear chrome grill trim.
It would have a really consistent look throughout the car

I agree 100% and was actually looking for the TL-S chrome grill. I can't find it anywhere, any ideas? lol I guess I'm going to have to talk to Acura on that one.

So far they're okay. They are super quiet on the highway and they ride smooth as hell. The bigger wheels and the new tires tightened up the steering quite a bit and the steering wheel is considerably heavier, which I love. On the downside last night here it rained like a bastard and cruising at highway speeds it was hydroplaning all over the place. That kind of pissed me off to be honest. Hopefully it was a freak thing considering these tires are rated for exceptional dry/wet traction.

 

They are pretty heavy (34 lbs. each) but, she's no race car so it's all good!

too much chrome for my taste but it looks pretty good. i agree with drop and aspec kit as ur next mods

I love the RDX A-Specs but I don't think I like the chrome. Sparkle silver ftw.

Out of curiosity, how much did you get charged from Acura to put them on for you? I am looking to get rims but am unable to do so myself unfortunately

 

Not really into the chrome look but they don't look bad.
