Finally here! My 07 TL Type S KBP 6 speed! w/18" Ron Jons and A-spec underbody kit!
Hey guys! I finally took delivery of my 2007 Acura TL Type S in Kinetic Blue Pearl, 6 speed, with the A-Spec underbody kit! I got the windows tinted today and the Clear bra put on today as well. The clear bra company did not have the pattern for the A-Spec kit yet, so my installer custom cut it to the kit. It looks great and you cannot see it at all! As you can see, I also put on the 18" Ron Jon Inspyres with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 235/40/18 tires. The car has black/silver interior as well. The windows were tinted today at 15% all around. I absolutely LOVE this car, and is by far my favorite car I have ever had. My last few cars were:
1998 Integra GS-R
2000 Integra GS-R
2002 Acura RSX Type S
2004 Acura TL
2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe
2006 Acura TSX
2007 Acura TL Type S
Every review on here is true..this car is amazing and I love it! Cheers!

a person just rate the tein SS and he liked it. The teins are really good acoording to him and also it retains the factory cushyniess. Get the EDFC from tien along with the SS and you will be "good to go"

I've heard the adjustable Tein SS's are like that. The clear bra was actually $800 installed. Yes, I know, expensive, but it took him 3 hours to trace and make the custom kit for the A-Spec kit. I drive 120 miles a day to and from work, so this is a GREAT investment. The kit is literally invisible. It is the Venture Shield kit.

btw do you have the headlights done also? if not you should, your headlights are bank$$$!! protect them from chips, i have clear rockblockers on mine

Ain't you the lucky one!
My S 6MT arrives in mid December, according to the dealer, but I suspect it won't arrive until early January.
Answer a question for me, please: How smooth is the MT shifter? My brother's S2000's has a tight, notchy feel whose throws can be done with your wrist. Does the S match that feel?

The shifter is amazing....simply amazing. Smooth and easy to shift. I like it better than the S2K's shifter actually. You'll LOVE IT! It's worth the wait!

holy shit. that looks really good. so let me get this straight, you buy a tl-s with a kit and then you go and get 18" rims and clear bra. all in the same week? who's better than you? good luck. i just tinted my car with 3M($299). they wanted $600 for the clear bra(3M). maybe later.

Love the colr and the car- BUT Holy cripes-it looks like a 70's car with air shocks! It needs a drop BAD!
I know it's different than the 05, but with my 18's and no drop I can barely fit 2 fingers between the tire and the wheelwell, and this looks like a whole fist would fit.

Very nice, all decked out. Wheels look like 19"! maybe its the suggested 235/40/18 tires.
Try to go with an A-Spec suspension. Might not be alot, but a conservative drop like that will address your needs for a smooth ride. TEIN SS is nice to have for adjutsablility, but can get noisy after a while from my experience.

No offense, I love the car (I have TL myself); however, I can’t stand how ugly the front underbody spoiler is – what the heck Honda was thinking? It seems that all the cars after the mid cycle refresh got really ugly front underbody spoilers – just look for 06/07 Accord front spoiler

Glad that your's came early. The wait for delivery is sooooooo painfully long(!).
Thanks for the comments on your shift mechanism & enjoy your ride.
