Nice progress man I love the end result.

I feel you on the color matching, I had my front and rear bumper repainted awhile back but my side skirts still don't match. I have been meaning to get em done for over a year now but I don't care anymore lol

It's a great system. I love the fact that I can lock my car from faaaar away if I realize I forgot to do so when I left the car. The only thing that's an issue is the remote start. When I activate it, there's this little green key icon that keeps flashing on the dash. I looked it up in the owner's manual and it has something to do with the ignition something something. I'm not completely sure. Other than that, awesome. No problems at all.

Did your wait times for parts coincide with the fact that they have to flown/shipped halfway across the planet?

Lucky you for such a wonderful location
Haha, thank you, thank you. I actually started to hate living here because it's so isolated and far from everything. Then I see all these places on the mainland getting hit with severe weather and I think, "Wow, we're so lucky to be here." Seriously, it's like spring-summer all year round here. You're in the air force? Maybe you can get stationed here!

Yes, I have come to that point of not caring anymore, too. It's not a big deal really... at least it's still shades of the same color. Hahahah.

Looks good - are you planning to get tires that fit the rim next time around?

ROB! Good to hear from you! How's your car treating you? Any new mods since our quad days?? Hahaha.

*She hahaha. There's not much more I can do to the car anymore. I'm not totally in to tuning the performance aspects of the car. If my car was a car made for speed, I'd definitely be buying parts for it left and right. Too bad it's not a Type-S! I'm already planning on buying a new car already...

Most definitely!!! I don't see the point in buying a car that has already been tricked out. I could never have any sense of pride if I bought a car that was modded by someone else. Gotta start from scratch!

Ah, yes... My old Celica. I still get to see it once in a while! Gave it to my brother in law as a little run around car. He loves it!

Wow, thanks man! I'm flattered! Unfortunately, as I mentioned in an above reply... I'm done modding my car. Planning to buy a new one soon.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my car... it's just that I think I'm getting over the whole car modding scene. I just wanna grab something that's plain and simple... already nice straight from the factory. Cops love picking on me because my car is the way it is.

I'm planning on leasing my next car (just started a new business so I can write off the taxes if I lease). That means no modding at all anyways! Hahaha. I'm just the kind of person who needs something different every once in a while. I don't think I can ever stay with the same car for more than 5 years. It would just be much easier if I lease because I won't have to go through the hassle of trading in my car or trying to sell it myself in order to get a new car.

I'll probably keep my TL just for the hell of it... like a weekend toy. Hahaha.
