Insert from Ebay - Domedecal I think is the vendor name. A bit over-priced at $35, but it's the best available as far as I know.

H&R Sport Springs - - Highly recommended. Great Ride, Great Handling. Eibach Pro-Kit and Tein are also popular.
From Mike at AcurTLParts.com, he's a vendor here. Mike's web price was cometitive at ~$200, plus shipping.

Been 3-weeks as of this past Saturday. It has settled from the original install.
Right now it's about 1 snug finger front, 1 finger with a little wiggle room rear.

Do you honestly think the ride is better than the stock type s setup? I'm not really convinced that an after market suspension setup can ride better than oem, the last time i listened to some one and replaced the stock struts on my 02 max with Tokico Illuminas, it was a horrible mistake the ride was horrible. I'm really considering this setup, I just wanted to know your honest opinion.
Thanks

Mine looks stock except for the Acura decal on the front the debadged deck lid. I'm in the heart of Ballantyne (521 & Ballantyne Commons) pretty often.

There's a lot that has to do with personal opinion and wants.
I want a firm ride that handles well. Handling (Roll, Dive, etc), NO DOUBT the H&R are better than stock. I also get better traction - I think because the springs keep the car planted better.
On a SMOOTH road with dips and/or small hills, the H&R is BETTER than stock - glued to the road with limited body oscillation.
On a ROUGH road, maybe a little worse than stock - the TL-S is no joy on REALLY BAD roads as it is and you feel even more bumps with the H&R.
On NORMAL roads (i.e. pretty smooth, with some bumps and imperfections), very similar to stock. You feel more bumps, but because the springs basically take the impact and stop add'l body movement, it doesn't feel harsh.
Overall, it's barely different than stock except in a few situations. Most of the normal ride differences are subtle. And the handling and appearance improvements are EASILY worth any minor drawbacks.

I'm rolling the Stock Struts. They *may* wear prematurely. Since the drop is moderate (< 1.5"), there's an OK chance that they'll be fine for another several thousand (10, 15, 20??)miles. I haven't had them bottom out and slam the bump stops, so I suppose that's a good sign.
In other words, I'm going to blow the stockers sooner or later anyway, so why drop an extra $600 now just to throw away perfectly good struts? When they go, I plan to put in a set of Koni Yellow's. Not worried about install costs since the DIY isn't too hard.

No & No.
No new pics. And the little bit of settling really isn't noticable. Maybe an additional 1/8th inch. Gaps were about 1 1/2 fingers; now about that in the rear and just 1 finger in front.
Where you really notice the drop is when you park next to a stock TL; DEFINITE difference. It's like, "Holy Cow!! My car looked like that!! I was driving a 4x4. ."
OTOH, those guys with 2"+ probably look at my car and think the same thing, lol.

Yeah..I just want to tighten the wheel gap for 18s but TBH the Type S wheels look much better with that drop. I'm in the minority in that I really like the TL-S stock wheels....too bad they weren't 18s.
Anyways, was your toe/camber way off when you got the alignment done?

Left side camber was still in spec, but barely. Right side camber was out, but just barely.
Toe was way out all the way around. Got that fixed and expect little if any tire wear issues from the camber.
I did get a 3 year "any time" alignment package (US $139) to make sure I can keep my Toe looking good. Assuming no noticable signs, I figure I'll have the alignment checked about every 6 months.
And I agree: For the TL-S the stock wheel should've been 18".

The more I look at your ride Bearcat, the more I like it with the H & Rs and stock TL-S wheels. I'm digging the slight rake...looks aggressive.
I'd love to see the same set up on a NBP TL-S..."search" time!

This old post is alive and well again. Brings back memories.....This car was in my garage last week and it looks a lot lower since we dropped it. Jim, you need to take some updated pics. The car is almost as low as mine. BTW, A pulley is going on my ride by next month.
