I think I voted for the wrong wheels lol. BUT, I would trade with your friend. I'm a big fan of mesh wheels, and those gold mesh wheels with the silver lip added to your drop just looks down right sexy! The offset isn't as low on his wheels than the MBs you bought, so you can always add spacers!

yeah i love the wheels too but they are just so weak only 8 inch width thats like... stock lol. if i ran spacers it would be 10-15 mm in the rear and front. do you think i should run bigger tires? like 235 45 18? or 245 40 18? the ones in the picture are 225 40 18

I like your wheels better. From the pictures, they seem to be the same color as the car! But are you REALLY sure about all the stickers????

Well.. this is how I see it.. hard decision because both wheels are nice in their own way.. what look are you going for? This should decide which wheel you choose.. Subtle and clean. .go with your friends wheels.. but with some spacers.. If you want a more JDM, sporty look (which is what your friend seems to be going for with his TSX, and the reason why he wants your wheels probably) go with the MBs..

Hard decision indeed.. I am going for OEM look now haha.. so oem wheels for me at the moment..

MB BATTO!!! for my, fitment is everything....and MB battles for one are not bad looking wheels at all, if it was a nice fitment but not so good-looking wheels (IMO of course), I would not get them. I had 19x8+20 Work VS-XX before, I said, hey it's vsxx!!! screw sizing they baller....once I got them on....they looked decent...but nothing that would make me smile. Problem? well not stretching and running aggressive = LOTS of rub. running 225 on an 8 equals flushed sidewall. If you are anywhere near your fender and you are dropped more than 2", you will rub a lot. with 225 on a 9.5, you stretch it so the sidewalls go in and no rub! So MB gets my vote Goodluck Elton!

Personally...Algernon Intellesse! They are one of my favorite wheels! I'd rock those with some spacers and call it a day. Definitely rarer and of higher quality.

yeah definately higher quality and rarer. they are my favorite wheels also.

PS the algernon intelesse comes with a catch... 3 of them are curbed and one has a slight bend (but it still holds air) and if i were to trade him id pay 300$ more on top but he will throw in almost new rays extended blue lug nuts..... DAYUMM hard decision... just cause of the lugs LOL

My vote goes for neither

Intellesse are very nice wheels but that fitment is weak

Battles have good fitment, but I wouldnt rock em cuz they are cheap

Save your money and find a deal on some nice wheels with good fitment

weak and cheap wheels are not the way to go. Offset is there but wheel width and quality are not.

^I think he already bought the Battles and is thinking about trading them for the Intellesse.

I really like the Algernon Intellesse but they are going to look really weak and plus they are curbed and you have to add $300. I think you should go with the battles..fitment FTW!!

i voted for what i personally would do. its obviously in the end totally up to you. i am a huge fan of mesh myself. and it has a classy look. if you are going for more of the agressive style than it would be obvious to go with the battles. the offset is lacking for a tl a bit if your wanting the flush look on the mesh wehels. i would run a 245/40 tire all around to have that beefy look still as well as add possibly a 10mm spacer in the back and 5 in the front. just my opinion. good luck and either way i think it will look great!

i know im responding to this thread a little too late, but i just want to say for your TL, i would go with the mesh wheels. It just flows much better with your car. Also, i have 18x9.5 +15 offset mb battles on my 2g TL. If you do decide to go to go with the battles i recommend a bigger strecth like a 215/40 perferably nankang, which strecth really good or for a hardcore stretch get a 205/40. Beccause if you plan on going lower (which i THINK you should) your wheels might rub when turning or doing u-turns, even after some fender work. Thats just my two cents either way your car will good!
