Ill check but whoever bought the first batches must have complained and they got it right on later batches as you can see in this post using the same spoiler.

I purchased this same one about 10 days ago. It's nice to see that you have gotten a sample that fits spot on. I pray I have the same luck. There are others on this forum that picked up the same product but had a noticable gap between the panel and spoiler, which is what I kind of expected. There is hope yet!

I dunno guys... the fit ONLY SEEMS GOOD at first, but what happens after a years worth of washes & rain? Moisture & dirt & god knows what else is bound to get under that lifted/floating free gap on both sides. THE ADHESIVE IS BOUND TO FAIL AT THE EDGES FIRST, then spread slowly accross. If you think about it, the wing should fit tightly across its mounting surface ONLY. That's why most roof spoilers have the minor gap on the edges, just like the glass. Do ypu think people manufacturing quality roof spoilers overlook a gap & play it off as a simple flaw.... I don't think so. Its there for a reason. If your looking for longevity & durability, stay away from cheap bling that is made with looks only in mind. To me function comes before form.

Dude its a $95 spoiler, doesnt work it goes in the garbage. I didnt put my life savings into this. People try new things and this is how others get ideas. If we all had the same rims and accessories on our TL's we wouldnt keep coming back to this forum for new ideas.

There is still a TINY gap on this spoiler, Its like 1/32" on each side. So what you are trying to tell me is this high quality space age Chinese spoiler material will eventuall fail and start my car on fire? j/k

Spoilers from the factory are almost all put on with double sided tape. If this method wasnt secure manufacturers would not have been doing this for years. I have seen some big spoilers attached with double sided tape. This one has a ton of tape on the bottom + adhesive. Dont think this will come off anytime soon. If It does, then I can use the spoiler as a belt.

Beats forking out $400 for a high quality item, especially when I can use that money elsewhere in my life. It's worth the gamble. I'd lose more at a casino, knowing my luck.

I had been looking into this spoiler. Not really feeling the flip, but it looks better than I expected. I think I'll save my $$ and go for something else, but nice none the less...

Hey 08A-SPEC, did you get a chance to measure the spoiler. Please do when you get a chance, I'd like to order mine but need to know what size to request. Thanks in advance!

You dont order this by length, at least I didnt. I just bought the spoiler, gave them my paint code and two weeks later it shows up.

There is a lot of debate on this spoiler length, so Im going to clear this up with proof since no one else has posted proof of the measurement.

People are going with the magic number of 44.9" My picture begs to differ.

This is a 44.5" measurement using a flexible tape measure to get a accurate measurement.

Hey OP did you useany extra tape or glue to put it on? Ijust got the same lip from a forum member and I'm wondering if the double sided tape it comes with is enough to hold it? Please let me know, thanks.

The spoiler came with silicone adhesive to use with the double sided tape. I uesd both, but if you use rubbing alcohol on the glass first I cant see the spoiler coming loose with just tape. Its not heavy enough. Do both to be safe though.

If I used the 44.9" measurement the spoiler would definitely hang way over into the pillars. Not sure how somone else came to that measurement. Unless the difference is .5" between the 04-06 and 07-08? Dont know.

I used the flexible tape measure to measure the entire spoilers curve end to end.

I just bought some epoxy adhesive crap from Strauss Auto. Should I add some of this also? My roof spoiler didn't include the silicone adhesive you guys got. The guy said once I use this it won't ever come off LOL. I'm afraid of it falling off or being ripped off by some douche. What do you guys think??
