Yeah, i am planning on it, unless something comes up since it is so far away.

Probably want to meet some other guys and follow them down to be a little more fun.

Definitely a long drive. You're coming from Sac, which is about two hours north of where I am, so I definitely feel you on that one. If you wanted to meet up somewhere in the Santa Cruz county area, like in Santa Cruz itself, we could drive down there mini-caravan style. I should have my new shoes by then; they should be here next week.

I'm not a big fan of Desert mist nor the Legends, but I now see it's all about execution. Your car is hott!! Probably the best DM on the forum and probably one of the most original looking rides I've seen in a long time!

X2!

If you would have been able to make it to the all-Cali meet, the rest of the 3Gers would have to close shop and go home. Talk about unique! You would have stood out like a sore thumb ... but in a good way of course!

Yeah, Yeah,

I will probably be needing some help with the choice as to what to do, not sure at this point aside from it needs to change!!!!

I might be putting some Volks on her soon, OH Christ that would mean 4 sets of rims in 7 months, if the deal falls through i will be selling the RonJon's and getting some Volks on her

U GUYS think the Desert Mist would look good with some GOLD Volks?

Haven't made up my mind yet, might look SICK though...

You have a great look right there, are you bored with it already??? IMO, I wouldn't do the Volks if I were you. Especially gold Volks? Naaah, pass man! The other mods you have planned will do you more good.

Another example of a wheel that to me, looks "OK" sitting by itself, but sick once they get mounted. Sharp ride.

I am about 90% sure i will be parting out the TL, within the next 3 days!!!

I found a brand new 2006 GTO with 2 miles and a 6-spd with 0% for 60 months and 400 Horsepower!!!

Will find out tomorrow if i am def parting out or not, but if you are interested in my mods let me know, probably be in the black market soon.......

WOW what a change. Fast car, but IMO quite ugly. Better get an extended warranty.

Not trying to piss you off, its just a generic looking car, thats why its discontinued.

They couldn't sell them. If fast is what you are looking for I guess you found one.

But looks are very important to me. Did you consider the Mits Evo???

It is not ugly, it just needs a little work to get it where it needs to be, just like the TL with no body kit. I do not like the EVO it looks like a toy car for teenagers, plus insurance is super high becuase of that fact.

IF you see a GTO with the Sport Appearance Package you will see how much better it looks

I need something with some power and the TL is def not it. I love mine, and i will have to feel i am getting a good deal or i will not get rid of it

damn, I can see you getting into something else 6 months after the GTO. I'm afraid you are beyond help. Its like porn, once you get used to soemthing, you need something more extreme to stimulate. Your about to get into fisting when you get the GTO, and there's barely anywhere to go from there.

The GTO is an awesome car with a huge potential. It is a tad heavy, but works very well with mods. You will not be disapointed!

Let us know if you decide to part-I would love to pick up some stuff.

The GTO is ok but two things would cause me to never purchase that car.

1) Pontiac has to by far make the worst, and cheapest interior for thier cars

2) Second its a domestic, which a] bad gas mileage b] reliability is not all that great compared to a import, especially Honda.

Its is a nice looking car, its a coupe so another reason why I wouldn't get it, too small for me.

Here is the GTo with the Sport Appearance Package

I love it-have you ever owned a GTO? I thought not. My little borther and my detailer both have one and they have had fewer problems then my last two TL's. Secondly, the GTO has great milaege for a V8. On the highway cruising-expect to get about 28. Average with city driving-18-20. Yes, it is not as good as a TL. But what do you expect? Lastly, the GTO is a Holden car and therefore has a better interior then your average Pontiac. Is it Acura quality-hell no. But you are not purchasing a luxury car, you are purchasing a sports car.

I love it when people talk about a car they know little about

Ha Ha...

That is why i am really on the fence about the GTO...

I really want it for the power and know it would be fun to drive, but my TL looks a lot better than the stock GTO.

I def think you are right about switching cars constantly, but i feel i have ran out of stuff to do with the TL and it is WAY underpowered especially when it is 100 degrees every damn day in NOR CAL.

I am really hoping that someone else will buy it before i go back, so that the decision is made for me.

I really bought the TL becuase i lived in Jersey and had to have a FWD car. I always liked it, but if i would have known i was moving to Cali i would have waited and bought something else.

I am really happy with my mods, and the way that the car looks i still have never seen another Desert Mist with Black Leather and a 6-Spd was really what attracted me in the first place to it.

Everyone on AZ is great and i have met some cool people, but damn i just need some more power!

Plus i have had about 10 PM's for the god dman MB carbon Shroud

To be continued

I have test drove one.....its a dream to drive, and its a beautiful car. Im not dogging on it Im just saying there are certain aspects of the car that dont appeal to me. I dont know about problems.......I havent had ONE problem with my 04 TL. And Im not saying that your bound to have any with the GTO, I have owned a grand am and that crap was the worst, water pump failed, starter went bad, soooo many problems, the first and last domestic I would ever purchase again. And just on verall reviews and an overall census most people would choose an import over a domestic for reliability.

OK.... The dealer sold the last new 6-spd that they had...

SIGH... The pressure is now gone.. I have a complex with buying toys, once i get an idea in my head it is all over and i have to go buy it or it drives me crazy.. I don't do anything stupid or out of budget would never over extended my budget, but it does stretch sometimes......

I will be buying BLACKURA's Pro Cats soon, so it should get me a little more power, but MORE is needed>>>>>>>

Might sell the engine shroud anyways shortly i don't do shows so i might give it up to someone who needs it more than i do

thanks
