looks great! can you take some far away pics (10-20 feet)? i recently received my 5k lights from vleds but they sent me the 6 LED by mistake instead of the 10 LED. I'm going to send them back on monday but was thinking about getting the 6k version instead. curious to see how it looks farther away

Thanks for posting this. I ordered the bulbs when I read your prior post stating the harness was included. I now see you are mentioning we also need DRL modules. Do the bulbs come with the appropriate AMP connectors/harness to plug into that DRL module? I'm going to place another order for the DRL modules and anything else I'm going to need for this.

Thanks,
Jon

No you do need the modules the bulbs wont turn on without sorry I misread your question earlier so I didnt mention this but the reason I just baught the bulbs from vleds is because I originaly baught the kit from ijdmtoy.com so I already had the harness in place I just didn't like the bulbs it came with so then I switched to the vleds bulb but now I also realized the the vleds modules are way easier to install the harness from the ijdmtoy so that's y gave that link let me now how it all turns out cause I might replace the harness with the modules

How would that DRL module work with the bulbs you purchased? The LED bulbs look like they have the same connector as the stock bulbs but that DRL module has an AMP connector similar to an aftermarket HID kit. It sounds like I would need to buy a harness as well?

Thanks,
Jon

So if you get the vleds 9005 module it would plug into your stock harness and then u would just plug.the led bulb into the other harness coming out of the module its pretty simple but if u get the ijdmtoy harness you would have to connect the positive to the battery the ground it and then u have to hide the wire and run to the other side its a lot more work

I think I was confused because of the yellow/black connector coming out of the DRL module ...I didn't think that would fit into the LED bulb for some reason. oops! If we go this route we may need a resistor as well.

From VLEDS re: the 9005 DRL Module:
DRL Module
The module will provide full power to the LED bulb when installing in a low voltage DRL system. Works with most vehicles using 9005 bulb for DRL/High Beam. Reverse polarity protection, if it does not work just flip the input connection around.

Some vehicles may require resistance on the circuit in order to function. Installing a pair of resistors will solve any low resistance issues like bulb out warning or bulbs not coming on. In this case our 9005_INLINE_RES may be the solution for you.

Ya u might need a resistor but just plug all in once u get u and if it turns on u should be good but otherwise u can get a resistor from a auto store

Damn I guess this is kind complicated as well u know if u haven't ordered these module I think just do what I did vled bulb with ijdmtoy harness here is the link for the harness cause this has the resistor built in

I emailed vleds about the inline resistors link on their page being dead. I received this response: Very sorry we do not have a live link for the inline resistors at this time. We are in the process of making a DRL kit for the TL. Please check back.

I'm waiting to hear when this will be released and if it will come with the 9005 DRL modules that don't need to be connected directly to the battery.

I got my full kit from jlclightings.com. The kit provides full power and no dash light. I got the kit with the 68 smd towers and it has worked perfectly for 2 years. It does not need power from the battery. The price includes LEDs but you may try to email them and see if you can just get the kit and buy the new LEDs from vleds. Either way here is another option!

Kawalps, let me help make your life on AcuraZine a whole lot easier!

In the lower right hand corner of each post, the middle icon is a Multi-Quote Button. It allows you to reply to more than one person in a single response. That will make your multiple responses look like all the posts I've merged for you. This way, you don't have to respond to each person in a single posting.

Give it a try-you'll thank me later!
