Well, I do at least.
I'll do that conversion this weekend! DIY will follow!
Well I broke my rear cover off when we had the ice storm, so might as well just order two and do the door lock cover mod, right?
Cliffs: I'm happy.

I hope so. I find that I am really into doing mods that most people won't even notice...
Anyone else feel that way? I don't know, it gives me some sort of satisfaction knowing I did a mod, and 99% of people won't even realize it's not stock.

Where did you order the door lock cover? Was actually getting ready to look for the best price for this but might as well ask since you just got it.

Doing the TL-S bezel eh?
I take it you've read DaveD's thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=bezel
I think he an I are the only two to have completed this mod...
Is your photo reversed? On the TL-S, the button holes are on the left side of the bezel, and you have to dremel the holes on the right, as per DaveD DIY I linked above. or did something change in the PN's?
Here's my handywork:

I may end up making a template to sell, or possibly even making 3-5 of them if I can do it well and quickly and reselling them for AZ members...

It's not hard... but it's not bondoing and sanding a fender either... It's very precision work, think precision fitting a firearm component... One slip of the file and oops.
As you can see from my work, it's not perfect, and that's about 6 hours of filing and test fitting over and over...
Good luck and post pics.

^Eh, I was talking about my carpc in the prelude. Yea I know, I have an idea that I believe will make this very very easy to cut out the proper holes. A little McGuyver but hey, whatever.
I'll make sure to document/take pics. So you and Dave are the only ones you know? I like the sound of that!

Can't wait to see the finished product! One of the many plans I have for my TL, but the lack of funds is crucial for me to actually do them.
I love the UPS man...he just doesn't come enough to my house haha

I've had this mod for quite some time... I believe it was a 2007 TL-S bezel, but I'm pretty sure the same part is ued 07-08 TL-S...
Yes, as you can see, I used a long machine screw JB welded to the back of the bezel to use as mounting posts. Using 2 nuts, one as the "stop" and the other to hold it in place.
