Dude you need to change your attitude before you change your wheels. No matter what you do to your car at this point nobody is going to like it because of who you are. A little humility goes a long way. I never had anything against you or your car, in fact I was the one that posted the initial pic of your car in this thread. I thought your car was creative and unique. Sure there were some things I didn't like about it but thats just me, we all have our own unique styles and preferences. All that said the only thing, the ONLY thing, that made me not like your car, was you. The way you responded to people and your overall demeanor. I don't know if any of this will get through to you, but show some respect to other people and maybe, just maybe, people will respect you.

seriously? last i checked the only TL to have been highlighted in a pretty reputable mag was an AM TL.

don't get me wrong, i think what you've done to your TL is all you, your money therefore your thing. But that doesn't let you get away with that snobby attitude of yours; also it would help if you looked over your post and re-read, then re-read again.....i almost think you sound worse than the entire cast of Jersey Shore combined. Hey but let's give you the benefit of the doubt, for all we know you were probably the short bus all-star back in the day

props for uniqueness, but i don't really see a show car there or even one potentially in the making.

 

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I guess now that I think about it you're allowed to respond however you want and be however you want. Your TL is very cool...has some mods I probably don't have the balls, money, or desire to do. That's why this site is the bomb...everyone has their own taste.

I WILL say that although entitled to act however...it sucks...ever gone to a meet and there are those few guys that sit by there car and think they're so cool. Like, check out MY car mere mortals but they could give a crap what you have to say or that you put effort into your car. Those types of attitudes turn me off to the whole idea of going to a meet at all. Honestly, that's what your first response reminded me of. These guys that are usually 10 years younger than me lying about their mods or how much they paid for things etc acting hard when you know they go home to Weston or the Gables. Just food for thought...it's probably not you and just the way you come across.

Well i did c this car up close and it does look good .....to plain in the back but thats my opinion .....Also i do have to agree with jptl04 it does have alot of bondo ....

 

3m 8115 panel bonder,when your gonna do bodywork bondo is not the answer yea its $60 dollars a bottle n ive been thru about 40 bottles u do the math

Although i do think your car looks nice, and is definitely unique. I don't really give a crap how much you've spent on your mirrors. Mine came with the car, and serve the exact same purpose. + 1. Its your style, I don't hate. But do not come in here saying you have the best TL ever. I have seen a lot of custom work done and is probably worth more than your car itself with the work. I have seen tail lights that end up costing 450, headlights by JNC that had to of cost about 500 in work and parts, and turbo kit/supercharger alone is 5k+. You spent a lot of money on your car, but you have shaved handles , m5 mirrors and body molding? Someone with this ride can have your attitude because its just ridiculous:
