Anyhow! While all of you wait for some sort of news...
Thought I'd share you guys something I'm working on for a local member.
So far, the project is going much smoother and cleaner than my original W212 spoiler. Guess that's what happens when you get a 2nd shot at something.
Aiming for perfect window-to-window fitment.
Left side:
Obviously it's perfect.

Right side:
After first cut, aprox 2mm off:

After half an hour of careful shaving... still slightly off. wtf.
It doesn't look like it... but it's probably like 0.75-0.5mm off. Very annoying. It's such a small number that I'm afraid I'm going to go passed it by 1mm.

(and yes I'm very serious about the numbers)
Also, initially I used fiberglass for my spoiler. But it actually wasn't that strong of a bond.
I've decided to use this bad boy:
6oz plain weave carbon fiber.
(anyone who asked me to help them with a roof spoiler will be getting the cf-bonded-goodness)

She's a keeper!!
I've been waiting on Anil's spoiler for AGES. Stupid shipping took forever, then it got stuck at border for nearly two weeks -wtf-
It'll be shipped once everything is done and the covers come in =]
