I plan on trying this out this summer.
I can probably make some if there's interest, but I'm not sure what shipping would be like to USA.
If I make a detailed DIY, that would probably be better, right?

Matt...you can be ignorant all you want bro but then you wont have the spoiler....and I needz you to haz the spoiler... !!!
GP...do it....a detailed DIY will be awesome....am not sure how many people have the skills which you possess to make one (I know i certainly do NOT have the skillset to do it myself) but I am certain it will help![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
OR just drive down to the border and hand it over to someone in the US and have them ship it LOL

The sellers i purchased from aren't willing to and the other seller states he only sells them.
ill have to keep finding someone!
GP a detailed DIY would be awesome! I dont know why i never thought of doing that. Steps are sort of their though.
paintmatched to my car (or black roof?) or CF... Hmn....
In the mean time i dont mind making these for people.
shiping an item this big this light is roughly 19bucks CAD for standard shipping which usually takes 8-10business days
p.s: i am on an hour break from work hence the lack of quotes. Gotta save every minute i can! :p
but who ever is interested can email me nguyenxviet@hotmail.com or text me, or whatsapp me. 1-647-997-0828

I don't mind making these for you guys.
I THINK I could get a hold of local shops that could make this [probably out of fiber glass--maybe CF too]. I'll have to contact them though. But then I wouldn't know how much things would cost from there.

That first ebay link is gone, do you know which one it was exactly? What seller etc?
I found this one, decently cheap. Seems like all are from Taiwan. I may buy and have someone local work with me to mod it.

Thanks for the great idea, btw...I love this more than the sarona, and atlp...i mean, the names are big and awesome, but not their price!

I got it from 4amotors and his partner/other account cnbautofans [or something similar]
That spoiler you linked is similar but it doesn't appear to have that flare.
Agreed on the price of the Sarona and ATLP. OUCH. Must suck to buy genuine hamann, lorinser and ac schnitzer parts.
PM'd you back =]

So we know the spoiler that 04komodo has is sick - it's perfect after shortening, the flare looks good, too.
Now searching w212 on ebay shows up different looking spoilers that don't have the flare now?
Just great lol
Searching up w212 on ebay led me to this product:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Mercedes-W212...ht_4159wt_1163
One of the pictures is of a local member's TL with bmwoemshop's roof spoiler wth lol

That's also my car in the background!

Hey!
Sorry earlier I was on my phone and searching on eBay on that is a pain.
The seller I bought from stopped selling it... and his other account or partner(?) doesn't have it either.
65+50 shipping:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/09-12-Mercede...ht_2176wt_1186
99+12 shipping:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/MERCEDES-BENZ...#ht_7886wt_952
59+45 shipping:
(but the spoiler pictured isn't the same as the oncar pic.)
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/09-10-11-12-M...ht_2648wt_1186
Hope that helps!
And wow they're actually getting a little harder to find on eBay now. I might buy one to have an extra just in case after seeing the low quantity on eBay.

Another PM i sent Rockstar
Ive never bought from either of the links so cant say that i have a favorite. They all appear to be made of ABS which is good. In this case i would get one from the most reputable seller of the 3, since the end cost is almost the same.
what i did was...
1. Measured the spoiler vs roof
2. Marked the center as exact as possible.
3. Made the mark around the entire spoiler.
4. Used a dremel to cut it in half.
5. Rather than cutting x" on one half of the spoiler i cut 1/2x" on each half. I felt it would make sure that both halves were as symmetrical as possible.
6. Taped them together and did a trial fit.
7. Cut both halves by a bit, equally, on both halves.
8. Taped it back and did more test fitting till i got it at the length i wanted (for mine rather than doing edge of the window i did edge of the c pillar to the other edge)
9. JB weld the two halves together while making sure both halves wont move during curing.
also, instead of just jb welding the insides i used a bit of the jb weld that oozed out from putting it together on the surface.
10. After ensuring that the jb weld cured probably i did another test fit to make sure there were no gaps.
11. I then fiberglassed the center with a strip of fb cloth that was aprox. 4" wide.
12. Sanded it down to make it smooth and even.
13. Layed resin then 1 layer of fb
14. Waited till it came to a tack and added another layer.
15. Waited till it was completely dry.
16. Sanded everything again
17. Inspected for any pits/holes in the resin/fb
18. Used combination of bondo and spot/glazing putty(similar to bondo) to ensure smoothness
19. Inspect spoiler for complete evenness and smoothness
and done!!
i personally ran out of space in my car to put it when i was moving so i plastidipped it and mounted it with 3m double sided tape. It stayed there very good. I only took it off when i went to repaint the car... And i was having a bit of trouble (was using only force).
hope that helps!

Appears to be identical to yours.
They call it "AMG style".

and there's no megabus for Ottawa?! That's shocking! But then again, could explain why this ride is 5 hours and not 12

That's the one I mentioned in the PM to Rockstar where the spoiler looks like mine but the 'on car' pic is different.
