Maybe its just me but does it seem senseless to get a RonJon kit when you aren't sure if there is something wrong with the engine or the tranny??? Yes, the RJ kit is but I think it might be smarter to make sure the car is reliable before you pump a lot of money into its apperance.
Good Luck, nonetheless.

The reason to get it now is that he can get insurance to pay for the kit (or at least part of it) since his bumpers need to be replaced anyways.

Yeah I need a new front and rear bumper so why not do it now? I talked to Ron and he said the kit was shipped yesterday. Looking forward to it!
The reason to do it now is so the insurance can pay for the kit and painting (at least some of it) since the bumpers need to be replaced anyways.

The engine problem is resolved. The exhaust was hit and the whole system was loosened. There was no circulation coming out rear left exhaust and there were loose bolts everywhere. If I had more time on my hand, I would have definitely invested in an aftermarket exhaust. But the problem is fixed so time to pretty it up

I am so sorry to see your loss but am glad things are working out. I am also in Boston and drive up and down Comm Ave. quite a bit. In fact, I used to go to BU. Anyway, please keep us all posted on how your RJ kit turns out. Hope you are feel OK most importantly.
