Hey man in the rear i have a 20x10 with a +35mm offset with a 255/30/20 and in the front its a 20x8.5 with a +40mm offset with a 235/30/20 tires. I am lowered as much as posssible with this setup on H&R Coilovers.

Man i was so pissed when i left the shop, cause i would wooot step on it and the car was slower than balls. No nothing i was like wtf. Then i figured im like let me just keep steping into it a little constantly for about a week for the computer to recognize the increase air flow. Sure enough it responds so much better and when i shift at redline into 3rd (triptronic) the car back fires. lol.

Theres a problem with the Sevas 20x10 for our cars. They come with a +40 offset. Before i lowered on the H&R i had the H-Techs and i was running the +40 offset with a 275/30/20 and it would rub crazy crazy. So i shaved 5mm off the rear and put a 255/30/20 and the front is perfect with a 235/30/20 i am lowered as much as possible with this set up.

I like the car, but that exhaust, why????

It looks like the same welded on coffee cans you see on every other riced up Civic. Making your car louder doesn't make it faster.

I was waiting for this response. lol.. Uhmm just to let you know these arent the Ricer Arospeed, Discount canisters that every civic has. If you would know what your talking about as i mentioned earlier they are the HKS Hi-Power. Meaning that HKS is a really really good and known brand for quality parts. The car sounds nothing like a civic.

Since when does increasing air flow decrease performance? Cause my car is responding and moving way better. Took about 3 days for the computer to recognize the change in air flow but now its awsome.

I'm aware of HKS but it still looks the same. I fail to see how adding a 5" pipe the last 18 inches of exhaust increases airflow. It's only for sound.

The sound might probably gives the illusion that the car is faster though. The stock intake and exhaust are already pretty free flowing as is. The computer probably had trouble because it expects some back pressure to exist which is actually normal for the engine. It's not a racing engine.

man u have no idea what your talking about. I also did the full 2.5" piping increasing air flow. Im not going to argue with someone that doesnt know what there talking about. IF i would have put 3" piping then i would of not had any back pressure. My car i running a lot better and no its not in my head like u say. Ive actually tried out the car with other cars.

Keep up the damn good work, not ricey at all. IF you had any rice on your car you would have your ass flamed, and you know that :o ) Props on the whip looking great, and with your tints removed it makes your car look completely different. Which is alos the case when you change the %. Can't wait till you do the photoshoot
