Hey
I just made my friend that owns a shop purchase the eastwood fender roller.
So as i stated earlier the
FRONT SPECS 18x8.75 et 20
REAR SPECS 18x9.75 et 20
I will be running them with 225/40/18 falken 512 tires
Neither one of us has ever rolled a fender...I am currently dropped about 2.5 inches on stockies....I think I will have to raise my car half an inch and do a 2inch drop... is it possible to run 2.5 inches dropped with my fenders rolled?
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/diy-rear-fender-roll-816941/
This thread showed me how to roll the rear fenders. Should I even attempt to roll the fronts? There is a liner for the front fenders and also the screw that holds the bumper to the fender in the up corner of the wheel well.
There does not even seem to be that much that can be rolled..how would I go about rolling the front fenders?

Thanks, guys.
mrlal, my personal experience with the Falkens is that they are crap.
I had a set years ago on my Grand Prix and hated them---compound too hard, harsh ride, no traction. Fast forward to January 2011. The tire guy brings out a set of ZE912s. I tell him my experience and he says, "They've come a long way since then." OK, I tried them. Less than 20K later (on a supposedly 40K tire) they were cupped and howling. Took them back, got a discount on a set of Eagle GTs and have yet to regret it. Dude says, "Well, I know you can't run the second rate tires on this car or it eats them up." Yeah, right. Asshole.
Moral of the story---find a brand of tires you like and just order them online. Find a reputable shop you trust to mount them and be done with it. Goodyear Eagle GT for me.

Sorry Dan, but I am in so much anticipation of my wheels that I came back to go through this thread again and saw these pics (which I somehow missed) of Dennis' car.
OMFG.
Now I REALLY can't wait for mine to come in.

Three Wheelin'
Im just wondering if I could pull this off with an A-spec suspension.... or should i not bother with it. The pictures above look amazing. Is that chromium black? I have an NBP, should i stick to that color aswell???
Intermediate
aspec suspension wont work unless u go with a less aggressive size. maybe like a 8.25 +35 or something.

You sure? The aspec suspension is pretty modest. I'd be surprised if there was much rubbing.Originally Posted by franklinhid

Guys, what kind of drop are you having to do to pull these wheels off? Like a 1.5 inch? Or 2 inch drop?
Thanks.

Would i be able to put on 18x9.75 et20 on my tl with a 2inch drop all around without any problems, or should i just go with 18x8.5 et35?!?! Keep in mind, I have the base 2005 tl, not type s so i dont have to worry about the caliper.

anyone have any suggestions on a setup for a royal dark blue tl? I was thinking white, but I don't see the XXR in white
definitely want to get some new wheels/tires asap, plan is to put snow tires on my stock rims and then have another nice set for spring/summer/fall
