What type of blue LEDs. I know the 3mm flat tops are a gorgeous blue, i think they are more defined than the knobs. I have attached a pic. I do know that the more MCD a LED has then the brighter it will be

 

roger, i forgot to mention. On the radio, there is an opaque cover which changes the light output of the LEDs. Whne i had the radio face off and before the illumination circuit blew, i tested out the LEDs as i was putting them on the board and saw that the blue LEDs were bluer than what we see around the knobs.

 

Where did you get those covers for the glove box/center console?
