Color matching YR240L (LIGHT CREAM IVORY)
This is an exact match for my 05 TL. Its good for touching up plastic door sills and even on leather to cover damaged or stained area's. I wouldn't cover the entire seat, but it is very good to cover existing stains or scuffs that you cannot get out even if it is a spot on the leather. It has a matte finish. Spray on very light coats from 1 foot away from the surface.
SEM Acura Cream Ivory 17323
I bought this can at English color & supplies for $17. Very happy with it!!

On my 05 seat when i was cleaning i found a spot. And i lightly sprayed it once and now i barely see it. And i only sprayed that small area. 1 more shot and it will be a 100% blend. This one i did not get a before and after..
However I have an 07 seat that I used for parts on my cluster/srs upgrade. I got that sear from LKQ in south dallas. I Do have some before and after pictures of that seat. But on that seat i sprayed more to cover up more problems. The result was still pretty good even with 4 or 5 light layers. I will post those this evening. The reason i said all that is because you may not have to use it quite so profusely as I did on the salvage seat.
It is a flexible matte paint. No paint will feel as soft as leather but if you go light layers it wont be too bad. Plus if your seat is already messed up then how much worse can it be? Also these TL seats are already a bit on the hard side after some years. So a paint dusting may not be too noticeable especially if you use it lightly in a small area. But on the salvage seat i have, i had to cover the whole right leg becuase of deep cracks. So you'll get a good idea what it will look like it its worst state.. That being a heavy coat.

I sprayed mostly the right leg. I avoided the left leg. And I did not spray the seat back at all.
Below, it looks like I missed an area.. But at the same time, I wanted to leave it looking slightly worn.. Otherwise, too perfect. Might be suspicious. haha

by the way, before you spray, I strongly suggest spraying an inconspicuous spot so you can see how lightly it should be applied. If you put too much on at once, it tends to "orange peel". So go light.. just get it wet.. and then let it flash for 5 minutes, then spray another light coat. It wont "orange peel" that way.
And also, this stuff is going to be even better on plastic door sills.. I know it will .. although I have not done it yet. Door sills are EXPENSIVE in the tl's. And its only a little piece of plastic.. You know how custom parts are.

I like the way the matte finish looks on your seats after painting them. It gives the optical illusion that the 3G TL seats use a higher quality leather. Does this product have a paint smell for very long after applying the coating? Very nice product.

I dont have a problem with the quality of the leather... When it was new.. Haha. But thats a good question. Did they have a little better quality leather on the 05 and 06 and not so much on the 07 and 08?

a lot of those little creases are coming out after I let it set and I used some lexol on it. I think the salvage yard must have had something sitting the seat and it put indentions on it.

I didnt spray the whole seat. only the right leg and a little on the front bottom cushion.. nothing on the seat back. So what you are looking at is mostly oem finish.
